Yea, in previous years on Día de los Inocentes we've seen Ángel Vicioso retire to dedicate his life to the priesthood, and Movistar signing MotoGP riders who had been riding with the squad on training rides.

It sure fooled the effervescent Daotec

Angel Vicioso (33) Androni Giocattoli-Serramenti PVC Diquigiovanni bye, bye he want's to become a priest El “Padre” ÁNGEL VICIOSO, "si, habéis leído bien, lo que le ha llevado a rescindir su contrato con el Androni Giocattoli de Savio". We wish him well and gods blessing in his long journey to salvation. ***Venga va…. lo confesamos jeje Indudablemente es una inocentada, eso si, con el beneplácito de Ángel Vicioso.¡¡Gracias Ángel!![elpedalde]

Another Spanish podcast had Bernal having a Sabatical year because of his back problems. Almost fooled me just because it was Spanish. I am assuming that this "Dia de los Inocentes" is big in Spain!!! :(

Oh man, not to read too much into races in February but this looks like another long and painful year for Movistar... absolutely no effort into the first World Tour race again (or so it seems), and i can't blame soon-to-be 41 year old Bala but ugh... no TV time on the first three days from what i've seen for anyone.
