I considered Nuyens the same way I considered Cobo - the risk of not having either was too great if they showed up in shape and were popular picks. As it is neither may break even

Hoping that Cobo can get a top 10 from T-A and Porte should win PN- so they can combine to move me up.

A real pity i do not have Evans- otherwise this week i might have moved up more.

Long term i need Feillu and Gilbert to go well, to even crack the top 30- of which i am currently 62 places away from.

I'd give him until M-SR. If he's still not good there I don't think he will be able to double his score, maybe 1800 which isn't a huge underachievement. Problem is one crash or illness would be a huge setback.

Fortunately I just about got onto the ship by putting a fiver on froome to win the UCi world ranking at 20/1.

Kicking myself for not taking out a second mortage and putting that on too.

Nairo's could have cost me ~130 points and you never know with sprints but I wish Kittel hadn't had that mechanical on the 1st stage and been able to contest it. Of course, that's racing.

So this is the week I take a nose dive. Only 85 points or so while riders I didn't end up picking keep doing better than I thought they would. My time in the top 10 is probably over for this year.
