Finally Albasini has some races on his calendar :D Sort of an off the wall pick admittedly. Didn't expect him to be absent from whole chunks of the calendar though :(

Well he did race Paris -Nice, Pais Vasco, the ardeens and Romandie so it isn't like a Hepburn who has done track, track and track.
He was also a lot more expensive than hepburn as well. Don't worry, when he gets his 2 stage wins at the tour you can relax

Yeah actually what I said isn't accurate. He has benn racing, just not always at the sharp end.

awww ****, just checked the update again, out of top 50 again :(

Ah well, got some of my more expensive picks peaking for the TDF (Pinot, Rolland, TGBM), so now should be the time I planned to move up a bit. I planned to be higher than 50th by this time though, so as to attack ftw, seems like I missed the decisive break unfortunately. :D

Dim breaks the tie, for now, with 40 points for Ben Jacques-Mayne's 4th place in US Nats.
I thought that advantge would prove decisive in a very light week calendar-wise but Geraint Too Fast's "exotic" picks are working well for him at the moment. Joeaar looks good for the GC of the Tour of Estonia, ~150 points for the race if he does conserves the top spot on GC tomorrow and with the lack of any races of note (except the Dauphine prologue) during the week that might be enough for Geraint to finish top scorer and distance Dim.

Hopefully Dim won't be too disappointed - he's got Joeaar in the Youth CQ over on velorooms - hope to see you in that game in 2014 if I bring it over here as well.

Dauphinee:
Thomas, Hushovd, De Clercq, Dennis, Favilli, Madrazo, De la Cruz, Nieve.

Suisse:
Rojas, Dombrowski, Kloden, Stybar, Ponzi, Peraud, Albasini, Kocjan, Rujano? Preidler, Lofkvist, Schleck.

As it seems Hugo has not yet return and since I have enough time to post an update this week, here it is.

Update 22 : freddybobs dominates the Dauphine's week

The week's top scorers
freddybobs had a stellar week, scoring more than three times the average score of 217 and putting more than 100 points into his nearest competitor. Not surprising when you consider he had both Dennis and Froome. In fact the four Froome owners are the four highest scorers of the week.
1. freddybobs 681
2. chinaboy 570
3. bullet50000 569
4. Bumeington 558
5. Akubra 521

The week's high jumpers

Again freddybobs tops the classifcation with ease, surging from 88th to 34th. Meanwhile, taiwan keeps gaining places after his recent 31 places jump due to the Giro.
1. freddybobs +44
2. Bumeington +28
3. Tigerion +26
4. PeterB +24
5. taiwan +19

The top 10

While there was some movement in the top 10 with many teams swapping places (most notably element overcoming Dim to reach the second place), al_pacino is the only one who drops out of the top 10, slipping down to 12th while Karbonkel gains 3 places to 10th. Our leader was not under any threat this week and in fact extended his lead to almost 250 points. With both Mollema and Pinot going strong in Switzerland, it seems unlikely he will be challenged before the Tour de France.
1. Geraint Too Fast 6706
2. element 6469
3. Dim 6410
4. SteelyDan 6178
5. will10 6145
6. ironted 6135
7. bicing 6036
8. Falze 5985
9. adamski101 5951
10. Karbonkel 5834
