By my quick count, 31 of the 48 teams that have Lulu also have Gerdemann:

18_Valve
Afrank
ansimi
auto_de_fé
CraZyCaLL
Cyivel
EvansIsTheBest
Falze
Ferminal
Froome19
Fus87
Geraint_Too_Fast
karlboss
Kazistuta
knallertjeblaf
LaFlorecita
Maaaaaaaarten
mc_mountain
Netserk
Nicosix
Oliveira
Pentacycle
riaroadtrip
Ruudz0r
Ruvu75
rywann
skidmark
Team_Roubaix
The_Amateur
The_Hitch
the_sceptic

Of course, as has been mentioned in this thread, Evans and MC have Seneschal as well, who looks set for a top 10. Unless Lulu and Linus trade stage wins and the lead and end up 1-2, there's slim chance someone will actually catch Oz this week, but it will certainly make things interesting.

Its funny how everyone is happy or regretting the LULU pick. So far he got 20 points racing against 3rd tier class of riders. I will regret him when he is above 760 points. Until then, I'm OK with leaving him out, which I did for a specific reasons.

It's just a usual early season excitement I guess. Of course this does not mean we won't start regretting it later, but so far I am happy to rely on my opinion supported by statistical evidence that riders on Caja Rural rarely score more than 350 points (and hope that Lulu will follow this pattern).

Top Ten - hurra. Happy to show up there at least once. So the effort of choosing a team was rewarded. Everything else now is a bonus.

Thomas Voeckler crashed and broke his collarbone and is out of TDU and will probably miss several weeks or racing. He is on 13 teams. It is sad but this can happen to any rider. Even to one of those 1000+ points picks ... just saying its risky business to select those very expensive riders. Last year champ has 5 riders at 900+ points and I would be very surprised if at least one of them under-performed for some reason.

Sure, the season is long (just like the Voeckler crash, that doesn't really affect the Ardennes or the Tour and might actually leave him fresher). But hey, what else are we going to talk about this week?

I guess I can talk about my lineups for next week...

San Luis (pretty run-of-the-mill popular lineup, I'm afraid)

Phinney
Van den Broeck
Anacona
Boonen
Moser

TdU

Dennis
Goss
Van Poppel
Ewan

I guess I have decent hopes for all those guys, and high placings by Dennis in the overall and DvP in the sprints would be nice.

TDU parcours was very good for him though. I expected him to do very well in the GC, but alas, even without the TDU and the first couple of weeks of his season he should still be a good pick.

Vanendert

Dreaming that VDBke and Tommeke are already in a condition to strike...

TDU

Daniel
Goss
P.H. Lecuisinier
Mohoric
Rowe
Wackermann

Hope that ALL my racers can grasp some points.

Argentina it's one of the most important countries for our the team sponsor, so star rider P.Sagan will be there and some of his teammates will be present at the race as well.

Tour de San Luis - Startlist

Leader - Peter Sagan (2 stage wins or gets slapped by our masseur in the end)
Co-Leader - Jelle Vanendert (no pressure, January it's not his month)
Joker - Fredrik Kessiakoff (will do whatever he wants, but probably will DNF because it's just too hot for him)
Water boy - Benjamin King (110% effort in the TT stage)
Water boy - Gianluca Brambilla (could be in some breakaway if he gets the chance)
Water boy - Adam Yates (needs some experience with the pro's)

TDU - Startlist

Joker - Matthew Goss
Sprinter - Danny Van Poppel

I like how you imagine yourself being the manager of the team, yet you're still convinced that Kessiakoff won't complete the race :p

Trudgin must be happy as his unique zero pointer Debesay scores some points (Trudgin, I saw in the popularity rankings that you had a typo of 'Debrsay', but I fixed it and since he's a zero pointer it makes no difference).
