Just sent in my team. I'm not really that happy about it but I decided to just send it in so that I can get some work done :D

Hi guys, just a reminder to please send me ONLY this format for riders:

LAST NAME First Name

So, like

CONTADOR VELASCO Alberto

No points totals beside the name, no spaces beside the name, no anything. I know it's stated in the first post, but I just received 3 entries in a row with points beside each name. I'm spending a few hours every day entering teams, and I just can't spend the time editing out 33 rider points numbers out of every team. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Submitted!! This is easily the least time I've ever spent on creating a team. I've also never built a team quite like this before. For those interested:

7495 Points, average age is 23.69.
2: >1000
5: 300-999
10: 100-299
10: 10-99
6: <9

Its a very strange team compared to my past years teams!

you would have expected Hugo to know that, wouldn't you... :p

Heh, no, didn't mean to juxtapose that post with Mr. Koblet's announcement of handing his team in. I meant 3 of the 15 entries I got overnight - for the record, Hugo K's team was meticulously submitted. Hugo87 maybe had a couple of spaces, but that's it. We've got some good Hugos on the board here.

One thing I cannot understand is why some players choose not to use all 33 available riders... It surely must be better to pick zero pointers than having free places???
Another thing that stikes me is that Columbians seems to be very popular this year. I only got two and I suspect one of them isn't very popular...
Anyway good to see many people joining each day, mavbe we will get a record number of participating teams once again?:D

I'd like to see those in bold, I wonder how many COL riders coincide with my 7...

Just started working on my team, forgot how hard it was. I am really considering to go with my gut feeling and just submit the first decent team I have. Last year I spent a lot of time on my team with changing riders every hour and I still had around 10 riders who did badly.

At the moment around half my team is between 150 and 500 points, whereas last year I had a lot of riders under 100 points with a few more expensive picks. Don't really know what the best option is.

I have learned my lesson now and will stay away from expensive picks that might ride in the autobus all year instead of doubling their score.

Haha, but this year I've only got 4.
Last year I had 9, but I was lucky that I had Gerrans/ Matthews, though even they weren't enough to compete against the all Aussie/NZ team to get me the early season lead.

I'm tired of constantly rethinking my team so I have just submitted it. I don't expect much from it so if I do well that's a pleasant surprise. It will be hard enough to do better than my 37th place last year.

I have 11 riders that I picked also last year, so if they disappoint/underperform again this year they are dead to me :)

Well team away, haven't done a break down of it but really should get to work

Can't be worse than last year, aim to improve my ranking. Considering I was bottom 10 shouldn't be hard.

9 returning riders, the rest is a clean slate

Heads up, all! It's slightly less than 24 hours to go until deadline... get your teams in! And if you know someone who isn't on the list in the second post in the thread, give them the heads up too.

Team sent in now also, so I will have a chance to sleap tonight :)

Hard to make the final picks this year with so many good picks available and yet so few "must have" picks, so will be interesting to see everyones choises.
