The 2015 Junior Cycling Game

Did you already know Sagan was going to be crazy good before he turned pro? Or did you already have your eye on Quintana when he was only 17 years old?

Here is your chance to prove it! Some of us cycling addicts already follow riders from a very young age, and with all the competitions going on in this forum why not make a game for it?

The Game
Every player has to select 12 juniors (riders born in 1997 and 1998) the riders can score points in races from the category .1 and .Ncup, they can also score points at the European and World Championships.
We will use the points that procyclingstats.com awards to juniors as our score, as it is much harder to predict which 1st year juniors will score well, they will get their PCS score times 1.5.

Submitting a Team
You can send your team of 12 juniors to my inbox, the deadline is at the 31st of january 23:59:59 CET. I will send my team to Wallenquist his inbox. When you submit your team please send me the riders first + lastname + his year of birth (97 or 98).

I will try to give a monthly update on points.

We have 1 late entry (Jakob747), he made a fully unique team, so I suppose no one has any problems with that.

The juniors started racing in March so we have our first classification. As PCS did not make a ranking yet I had to do it all myself so there might be a mistake, but I think it should be fine (if something is wrong it will later automatically be corrected when a ranking is posted, but you can always contact me)

We have two leaders who both scored with Eenkhoorn (160), Philipsen (60), Conci (28) and Sivakov (7) but everything is still very close at the top. There were only .1 races so far this year and a lot of the riders did not compete in a .1+ race yet so everything is of course still wide open.

PCS finally updated their ranking,

JerkoenK leads with solid picks as Eenkhoorn, Philipsen, Honore, Foss and Costa. There is only 1 guy who picked the best scoring rider so far Brandon McNulty and that is Jakob747, surprisingly he is still in last but that is mainly due to the fact he send in a team a bit later with only unique picks.

PCS had updated their ranking 3 days ago so wanted to update the game, but as I was doing it, I halfway noticed the update wasnt from 3 days ago but back to 26 days ago. Finished the update though but the july races are not in these scores.

MathKB has done great since the last update, he nearly doubled his score and moves from 4th to 1st!
