Pretty sure Groenewegen isn't going to the Vuelta. This is his schedule, according to PCS:

Upcoming participations
Sure, he wasn't going to go the the Giro either, originally. But I think that change of plan was because the races he'd otherwise been up for racing in that period got cancelled.
Oh I thought I read he was going. Perfect, more for Jakobsen.

In all seriousness it is good they got 2 a piece. They’ll probably split the Vuelta stages. More happy for Jakobsen especially since he is younger. He should win comeback of the year honestly. Got to win as much as you can before falling off and next crop comes.
OTOH, this kinda shows how weak the TdF sprinting field was. Jakobsen, Groenewegen and Ackerman all could/should have been at the Tour, except their teams had other priorities.

I was more comparing to the Tour of Turkey.

Maybe they would have won, maybe they wouldn’t have. Maybe if one of the above riders was here neither would have won this week.

Is it up to date?

today according to pro cycling stats cav/merlier both have 9 wins...next philipsen/hayter/demare with 8

for myself it's been a good year with no one rider totally dominating

interestingly with retirement of greipel cav is now listest as rider with greatest overall
wins at 155...23 more than valverde!

Mark L
And Hayter's have all been bunch sprints?
