The Ayuso voodoo is unreal. As if he's not scoring enough points already! o_O
945 points from 18 race days, and the next two months seem to be sitting up perfectly for him. The rest of my team is mostly guff unfortunately, but it looks like you're really going to have to have a perfect combination of alternatives to be competitive this year?

And please Arkea, don't be fooled by Vauquelin's 8th place. Pure luck due to all the (un)fortunate crashes. He's not a WT GC rider so uitlise him more wisely if you want to chase points.

Ayuso and Del Toro very good.

Mihkels a nice surprise and Wright got a few points as well.

Shame about Tarling... he could have had a good chance at scoring points as well. Hope he will be very motivated to put this behind him going forward.

Okay week, a few probably did a little bit better.

Only one other in the top 10 has Rodriguez (@skidmark obviously) so him getting going is absolutely huge for my team. Nys is going to start his season soon (with a pretty tasty program) and hopefully Gloag will race again at some point so there are reinforcements on the way as well.
Okay. This saves me some research. These are the exact three guys I need to get going. No top ten for me this year but always looking to move up in the standings.

Update #12: Spanish duo vaults adamski101 to the top

Between a shocking crash that seriously injured many top Tour de France contenders in Itzulia to a 60km, 3 minute solo breakaway win by MvdP in Paris-Roubaix, Holy Week was more like Holy S#$t!!! Week. The Basque country race opened up to other contenders, and on the final stage the twosome of Juan Ayuso and Carlos Rodriguez flew away to the top 2 overall and a bunch of points. These two also happened to be picked enough in this game that their points haul was fairly conseqeuential.

adamski101 comes out resoundingly on top this week, winning by almost 130 points on the week! This was built on a foundation of the aforementioned duo (266 for Ayuso and 208 for Rodriguez, picked by 39 and 24 teams respectively), but plenty of other help as well: the continually impressive Isaac Del Toro (47 teams) picked up another 103 on the week, young Madis Mikhels (90, 16) had a top 10 place in Roubaix, while Cosnefroy (66, 16) and Fred Wright (46, 22) also had a part in it. Devil's Elbow lands a ways back in 2nd, with the same top 3 (Ayuso/Rodriguez/Del Toro) as adamski, and help from Meintjes (62, 6) and Dainese (50, 3). trackstand takes the last podium spot this week without Rodriguez, but with Mikhels and 56 each from Gregoire and Schachmann.

5Senderos(+10)

Things flip in these standings, with Anderis moving up the highest after finishing just off the podium in the Top Scorers ranking. jsem94 moves up 12 spots to end in 2nd on this ranking, an improvement on the 12th in the Top Scorers, while the top 2 in the other ranking tie for third here.

After Jakob747 pulled within two points of shalgo last week for the lead, shalgo decided to start scoring again and took 12 points to extend the lead back out to 14. Team skidmark grabbed 18 points to move into the top 5, while the other top teams held steady.

7(+11)adamski1015129
8(-3)Squire5066
9(-)JPettersen5013
10(-3)Jakob7474969

Despite not having Carlos Rodriguez, shalgo loses a mere 4 points to 2nd place skidmark, and gains over 100 more points on the rest of the top 5, thanks to a deep bench of scorers including Cosnefroy, Sam Bennett, and Schachmann getting over 50 points each this week. There are now only 3 other teams within 1000 points of shalgo, yikes! Further down, adamski101 parlays the weekly win into a leap into the top 10 overall, at the expense of Nakazar.

After the high-profile of Paris-Roubaix, we transition into the Ardennes, with Brabantse Pijl and Amstel Gold on the menu this week, as well as 3 French 1.1 races and the Giro d'Abruzzo.

Lol. Am one of the 39 teams with Ayuso, and was 38th on the weekly ranking. Close to giving up on the rest of my team, but there are some potentially good options this week

Brabantse
Carapaz
Ayuso
Ryan
Oh hang on, they've all been withdrawn in at the last moment. Let's see if the others even start, never mind finish
Laurance
Segaert
Vliegen
Gachignard

Ayuso

Ayuso showing some mercy to the non-believers. No Brabantse and now withdrawn from Liege for some reason.

Does anyone have any info on Riccitello? Poor at Catalunya, then DNF, and this week can't compete with CT riders?

Also beginning to think Staune-Mittet wasn't the wisest of choices. Maybe he hasn't got over his injury issues, or just isn't on the right team to give a neo-pro climber a chance to ride for himself?
