Although I had a long list in December, the deadline rather crept up on me, so my final selection was somewhat hurried. I just hope I haven't overlooked any of the "must haves". I did ok for a non-Roglic player last year, but was massivelt let down by some expensive picks. I should probably have picked one of them again this year, but didn't. I am thus light on Sprinters.

No 1000 pt picks
6 x 500 to 1000
13 x 100 to 500
14 x 0 to 100

Including 4 x 0 pointers (one of whom will be very popular I suspect).

Can't wait for it all to start. 9 riders in Oz. It's ridiculous how much this competition means in the grand life scale of things.
Ok, I'm really curious who this "very popular" zero-pointer will be. I never even considered one of the 18yo's neo-pros, and I don't know of any other potential 0-bargains.... makes me wonder if i really messed up. Ok, seing other seasoned players not picking any zero-guys makes me calmer.

I agree that there's less obvious picks this year, but a lot of different riders with potential to improve for various reasons. My last reshuffle was mainly due to budget fitting, which also means more of my picks than usual gave/gives me a head scratch.

With 30 0-pointers, you could fit in Pogacar, Van Aert and Van der Poel.

I have 11 zero pointers, but I'm only sure that one of them will be on multiple teams (you might be able to figure out who it is).

Samuel Sánchez is not returning. Bad pick on your part, however cheap.

I did consider picking Samuel Fernández, who used to ride for the Samu-MMR Academy team and might be the next Pelayo Mayo, but in the end I ditched him for being too Asturian.

I have a zero-pointer as well, but I'm not sure that rider will be super popular. There are so many neo-pros or u23 riders that could have massive years, and whoever will make the right picks out of them is going far.

I don't follow the scene closely enough to pick solid zero pointers. Guys from the U23 scene are also difficult because I would be going 100% off of results.

Really curious what expensive pics people will have. I felt like there were a lot of decent possibilities in the 500-999 point bracket but you can't take them all.
I'm somewhat afraid I went for 'old' guys too much once again.

I also have a zero-pointer. However, not the one you might think.
I made my team before the big news about that rider.

Given the championship courses, I wonder how popular one of the most expensive riders will be. Maybe less so if there is less depth in the cheap end than normally?

I am also pretty curious, who the one above 1000 points rider is, which a few players here selected. I had only one in my longlist in that price range, but decided against him in the end. Can´t wait for the spreadsheet... ;)

I don't really view the 0-pointers as must haves. What I do feel however is that if you are getting close to the cap and need to fill out the team then a 0-point neo-pro makes a little more sense at least in case they come with a good reputation over say a 2nd or 3rd year pro who scored like 13 points last season. The 13 pointer has already managed to go through a season without impressing much whereas the 0-point neo-pro at least hasn't disappointed yet so they could be that guy that goes straight in at 2-300 points in the first season.

I certainly never considered to pick any zero pointer who turned out to make the headlines recently. Now I'm curious who I might have missed out on...

His surname is a type of weather.
You probably still didn't consider him, however, he fits in with my theme.

I have one zero pointer because I just had one place to fill after spending all of my budget but none of the zero pointers I've considered looks to me like an obviously better prospect than some other riders from the range 1-50, so I wonder if I'm missing someone, I'm wrong about someone or if it's not going to make that much of a difference.
