Did you make sure the names are in the officially sanctioned CQ format?

I´m curious, who this above 1000 point rider is. I don´t have one this edition...Above 1000 points - 1 rider
Above 500 points - 4 riders
300-499 points - 3 riders
200-299 points - 5 riders
100-199 points - 9 riders
Less than 100 points - 11 riders
Three zero pointers
Well in my eyes, even before the retirement news, he was not really an attractive option this year for this game. At least I didn´t have him in my longlist. But of course, I also wouldn't wish on anyone to have chosen him.Sincerely hope that nobody picked Simon Yates, or that if they do they realise ASAP and manage to resubmit in time.
Neither did I, but he's definitely the kind of rider I could see being on one or two teams.Well in my eyes, even before the retirement news, he was not really an attractive option this year for this game. I'm with you. That could change dynamics a bit.If he'd retired yesterday I would definitely have given a bit more consideration to one or two other riders on that team

Would it mess things up too much to allow anyone who did pick him an extra 12 hours to replace him?

"But, Red... " I hear you say. "That doesn't add up to 33."
And you're correct. But remember, the guy above 1000 points is also above 500 points, and 250 points, and...
How many riders above -1 points do you have?
By averaging the sum in each category, I can deduce that your 1000+ rider probably isn't the most expensive of the viable options.Above 1000 points - 1 rider

How dare you ? I have only *checks notes* 8 French riders. Ok I see your point.By averaging the sum in each category, I can deduce that your 1000+ rider probably isn't the most expensive of the viable options. And I guess it would have been a surprise if you picked one of the direct rivals to your favourite rider and had to cheer for him.

Seems like I'm turning into @EvansIsTheBest :O
And no eyetalians for me this time, which has to be the first time in history I don't have anyone from my favourite cycling nation. There was one I really wanted to include though, which would probably have been an almost-unique pick. Curious to see how many teams he shows up in (not that he's some hidden gem really. It might have been more wishful thinking on my part, which was also part of why I ended up not picking him).
When playing around, I actually thought about picking him... since many probably would not go that direction this year after the last one. However, on second thoughts, his valuation was still too high for me and even though he can probably score a lot I didnt go down that route. I think it limits too much what one can do with the rest of the picks outside of the risk. What you are insinuating actually took a backseat on my overall decision when deciding on it.By averaging the sum in each category, I can deduce that your 1000+ rider probably isn't the most expensive of the viable options. And I guess it would have been a surprise if you picked one of the direct rivals to your favourite rider and had to cheer for him.
Maybe we both are...You have 7 GBR as well? Okay maybe I'm not a total idiot![]()
I'm expecting exactly zero unique picks for me. A couple of my very cheap picks might be rare, but most likely not unique. They are all pretty well-known. I was thinking of making some slightly more out-of-left-field picks, but didn't dare with how many good conventional options there were. Those might have been unique picks had I made them, now that Geraint-too-fast is no longer active. But then there's still always @Leadbelly who can be counted on for spoiling some unique picks.Anyone want to bet on how many unique picks they'll have?
I honestly can't see any of my picks being unique this year. Some might be close, but I don't consider any of them hidden enough.
