Of course not.
And yesterday, I don't think it was as much the site that hadn't been updated, as it was CQ that hadn't been updated. Which meant that the site didn't get updated, because that's based on CQ.
Indeed! I went to check and saw this was indeed the case (thought site wasn't working). Individual races were updated but overall rankings were not. Not even in the evening, no idea why.

I have noticed an odd little thing regarding the list of upcoming races in our individual player profiles; it appears all riders who are starting races on the same day are listed alphabetically, regardles of exactly which race they're starting in, resulting in situations such as this (using Mason07 as an example):

2026-02-01Trofeo PalmaBOUWMAN Koen
2026-02-01Grand Prix Cycliste de Marseille La MarseillaiseDECOMBLE Maxime
2026-02-01Trofeo PalmaHOBBS Noah
2026-02-01KRIJNSEN Jelte
2026-02-01PICKERING Finlay
No idea what you are talking about!

2026-02-01Trofeo PalmaBOUWMAN Koen
2026-02-01HOBBS Noah
2026-02-01KRIJNSEN Jelte
2026-02-01PICKERING Finlay

(Fixed sorting :) It indeed was incorrect based on date/rider name. Now did date/race/ridername)

So Brenner and Kron the guys for me, who saved the day today.
With the news coming out, that Lipowitz will also ride Algarve and Tour de Slovenia, I am not so confident anymore about the decicion to include O'Connor and Mas for Lipowitz in the end.

Tomorrow the first race day for my unique pick Jannis Peter in Spain. Don´t expect much, but let´s see.

Here are my riders for Morvedre and Castellón:
Cosnefroy
P. Torres
J. Peter

The startlists had been finalized today on PCS. Tomorrow the data on @Shakes website should tell us, how many riders of our game will participate in these races. Tiberi and Morgado seem to be two guys, who a few of you will have an eye on tomorrow.

GC in TDU basically done now barring potential bonus seconds, so all that's left to play for this week are the Spanish races and some stage points for mostly Brennan.

Gave hard long look at Pescador. Should've picked him...
Had him last year and was underwhelmed. Typical.

So, my team for the week or so ahead ...Spain
Torres
Adria
Cosnefroy

Double in AlUla ... looking forward to seeing him.

For Mallorca
Finn
Krijnsen
Torres
Cosnefroy
Adria
Hobbs
Nerurkar

Antonio Tiberi, 555 points, 16 picks
Two good results in T-A and Pologne last year. Unfortunately for him, he suffered bad luck with crashing in the Giro and that he wasn't feeling well during the Vuelta. Couldn't make himself justice in either. I think he could have more to offer in some tougher one-day races as well. We will see about that, but nonetheless it feels like he could be a solid pick here.
I am spinning like a cat atm.
dont tell him

Diego Pescador, 94 points, 7 picks
Had him last year and he scored a small profit. Picking him again as I hope he could improve more in his second season with Movistar.
Nice one!

I didn't notice that Pescador was riding today, so this was a nice surprise. Quite rare in the emerging rider game as well with 9 picks.

Tiberi seemd like such an obvious pick in any other year, and was one of the first on my team, then ended up going with O'Connor which hasn't gone well at The TDU. OTOH, assuming the GC positions remain the same now, Brenner and Kron are exceeding expectations, and there's another chance for Brennan tomorrow.

That Willunga is cancelled, sucks of course. For this game on the other hand the impact is not that big, as the GC guys already made the differences at another stage.
Would have really sucked and distorted the game, when also the other GC stage wouldn´t have happened and all the GC points would have gone to sprinters like Welsford and Brennan.

Quite a few extra points entering the game because of today’s crashes, with everyone’s GC points (excluding the one Adam Yates team) boosted by the UAE crashes and (in the bad news department for me) Pithie getting to sprint today, tomorrow and perhaps also at the Surf Coast Classic courtesy of Van Poppel crashing out.

You can, however, be happy that Brennan is beginning to look like a terrible pick. I guess if he will really ride the Surf Coast Classic and Cadel, there's hope that the Australian adventure does not end like a complete disaster, but tonight and Thursday have definitely been very discouraging.

He did botch his positioning a few times last year too. In TDU he only properly sprinted once, for example. And he also did while he was otherwise godlike in the late season.

I'm more worried about my Buitrago pick. I see no reason for him to be this bad when for the last four seasons his first stage race of the year has resulted in 2nd, 3rd, 2nd, 1st. Could just be a slower build-up, but he was billed as the Bahrain GC guy and my peace of mind could really have done with some January points from him.

In other and much less surprising news, my 15 point gamble Simor Carr has of course been ill with the flu, so he DNFed Morvedre and is doubtful for today. But he still has time to get his two good days per season, of course, so I'm much less worried there. Let's hope Morgado continues to not look completely terrible today.

At least there is one parameter where he seems to be very different from Sagan.

Disappointing performance from Pablo Torres whom I picked precisely because he was doing these Spanish races.

I pity the fools who didn't pick Kron.
