And now Küng has suffered a thigh fracture. Far and away the worst start to the season in terms of injuries my team has ever had in this game...

Surgery scheduled early next week. Absolutely awful, and this is way more consequential for us Küng owners than Van Gils as Küng ownership is very low. He probably won't be back until autumn, and breaking even would be a feat in and of itself as it stands now.

Good news; Lund won the sprint for 6th.
Bad news; It was the only the sprint for 6th, especially because Laporte and De Gendt got away.
However, I have Laporte in my Spring Classics Game team.

Didn't Finn crash in one of the Mallorcan races? Maybe it's some worrying long term effects after that. Should probably not have raced Figueira.

Why on earth would you pick Bettiol?

Because I haven't learned the concept of "kill your darlings" (and because he was consistently good in the fall and nowhere in the spring of last year).

Vacek was right behind Van der Poel on Molenberg and after that he was dropped by everyone and their dog.

Biggest dissapoinment of the day for me even not the fact that Laporte could've easily finished in top-10 if he didn't stop to celebrate Brennan's win.

It's the moment that i realised that i excluded Luke Lamperti from my team after cheering for him for two days.

Facepalm.

Lund is looking like an awesome pick for those that have him. He wasn't even on my radar. Nice to see that Lampertti looks like a decent pick this year ... some promise from Nerurkar too... and Pericas scored a few in Sardegna. Not a terrible weekend... but not brilliant either. Good to see a couple of my unraced expensive picks are getting their seasons underway soon.

I went with Mohoric and was looking forward to seeing how the two compared over the next two months. That's terrible timing in terms of his impact on the game :confused_old:

I was really considering Zana... on top of which, Vansevenant dropped an absolute stinker in Sardegna.
Me too, though I'll admit that Italian climbers are a bit of a blind spot for me. Unlike Vansevant, who I've had before, and chose to forget how frustrating he can be as a pick.
