I'll panic if he won't top-10 SanremoMohoric has some points on the board and looked decently lively today, I can't see him flopping completely.
I picked giosue epis because I thought he was Alessandro verre. I got them confused. Costly mistake as verre scored decently this week.
Back into the bottom 10. If I win this I will have to be like TGH in 2020 giro. Even Samu Cuenca will pass me soon
Yeah, he looked decent today. As did Seixas yesterday.Hmmm, Brennan looks like he we be ok for you
I don't think he was particularly hurt.Didn't Finn crash in one of the Mallorcan races? Maybe it's some worrying long term effects after that. Should probably not have raced Figueira.
Sporza is reporting today that he wanted to attack with Van Dijke (or join in the attack) when Van Dijke bridged to MVDP and Vermeersch but he had a flat tire right at that moment. So at least it doesn't look like the bad result was due to a lack of legs.Because I haven't learned the concept of "kill your darlings" (and because he was consistently good in the fall and nowhere in the spring of last year).
Vacek was right behind Van der Poel on Molenberg and after that he was dropped by everyone and their dog.
Very good news for Widar owners.Widar not going to Strade unfortunately
He was on the Trofeo Laiguegilia startlist but has now disapppeared.I don't think he was particularly hurt.
Finn tends to start slow and get better as the season progresses. Coppi & Bartali will be a good test for him.
I have a horrible feeling Kron might be added to the startlist..Very good news for Widar owners.
Still going to enjoy following Brennan, but increasingly less sure he can be a good pick. Australia was a bit disappointing, especially with the Surf Coast Classic being cancelled. In the next 3.5 months he currently has 5 race days scheduled, 3 of which are monuments. Presumably more will be added, but VLAB seem intent on seeing if he's the new Boonen already. We might have chosen him a year early?Yeah, he looked decent today. As did Seixas yesterday.
But he was so expensive and has such a limited programme that in order to be a good pick he can't really afford a lot of DNFs in the classics. But luckily, the crash seemed to have no consequences.

He has been sick, so now it probably wouldnt be a good idea anyway but it is also a very tough race with a very strong field. Him scoring anything might be slim at this stage. He might need more time to develop. How is that good news for Widar owners? (Mostly asking from a Spring Classics Game perspective.)
Why would that be horrible?

Been little info on him going into the season. Have heard very little. Maybe some of our danish friends in here know more? What happened to Albert Withen Philipsen in Omloop?
A pretty dissapointing result for a guy, where you hope that he will get close to 1000 points during the season...

Yes, looking at teams with the best looking expensive pick (Tiberi) right now, their performance is indeed not unimportant. We have 16 teams with Tiberi, but only 8 out of these teams have also Seixas and Laporte combined. Not the most critical points from Seixas and Laporte since they are fairly popular but always nice to keep the meter running.
from williams threadAre there any news about Joseph Blackmore, Pelayo Sanchez and/or Stephan Williams?
Blackmore had been in the pre-startlist for Algarve, but had been removed without explanation. About the other two I didn´t hear anything yet..
yeah, there's not much to be expected this year, I guess. He had a knee surgery in September, and when last interviewed in December, Williams had not seen a bike again yet, and could only do up to 30 minutes of very gentle training at home a day.
So it will likely take more time to get back to a decent level, and whether he'll reach early peaks again, is even more of a question mark, of course.
Kron will be the GC leader for T-A at least.I have a horrible feeling Kron might be added to the startlist..
