Spoilt for dodgy choices where you don't know if they will come back like Laporte or like Jakobsen.A lot of riders picked for the game have been injured or underperformed this season. We might be spoilt for choices next season.
This year, I also bet way too much on comeback riders, even though I wasn't sure if they'd be able to return to their former level this season. Sometimes a pick is safer, when you already see a rider perform at least in the last few month of the season like Laporte, as he basically showed top shape last year in october. So it was basically already clear for this season, that he has finally put his illness from last season behind him.Spoilt for dodgy choices where you don't know if they will come back like Laporte or like Jakobsen.
Ya, I made the same observation with Laporte, even hoping he wouldn't score too much at the end of the year. I also saw something similar in Marco Brenner who finished 5th on a hard stage of Luxembourg which showed he still had the ability to ride well which he has also shown at the start of this year. This year, I also bet way too much on comeback riders, even though I wasn't sure if they'd be able to return to their former level this season.
