Amstel
Quantity (and maybe some quality).
COSNEFROY Benoît
DINHAM Matthew
EVENEPOEL Remco
HAGENES Per Strand
LAPORTE Christophe
NOVÁK Pavel
REMIJN Senna
VERSTRYNGE Emiel
WITHEN PHILIPSEN Albert
ZINGLE Axel
1st, 3rd, 5th and 8th in the end. Can't complain about that even if it's a shame Remijn couldn't quite hang on. Verstrynge with the classic "outscore his entire 2025 season in a single day" move.

Decent points from Nordhagen earlier so it should be a good week (would have been better if I had been brave enough to keep Crozzollo in my final team but that's another matter).

Update #14: RemCosnefroy shine in Amstel

The start of the Ardennes classics see new teams stamp their mark on the game much like Evenepoel did on Amstel. More big weeks from the Belgian could threaten to upend the top of the GC but for now his backers remain very much on the periphery of the GC. With the Giro prep and the Ardennes in full swing there is still more twists and turns to come in the coming days.

Suspiciously, EITB has his first good week of the season once he takes over the update duties. Evenepoel, Cosnefroy, Nordhagen and Verstrynge did just enough to push him past 18-Valve. (pithy) and their Evenepoel, Cosnefroy, Romeo and Gaviria combo. Trackstand takes third in no small part due to Foldager's surprise win on Friday. Armchairclimber with the dynamic duo of Riccitello and Bisiaux finishes fourth on the week while veteran MADRAZO closes out the top 5 with a very round 600 points.

EITB, Valve and armchairclimber repeat here as part of a cohort of 5 teams seeing double digit jumps. Jon Ezeitza (Evenepoel, Cosnefroy) and Amethyst (powered by their French trio of Grégoire, Cosnefoy and Bisiaux) complete the top 5.

No points scored by anyone in the top 10 so slow climber remains a solid leader here.

Slow climber had a slow week and sees postmanhat shave over 150 points off the lead. Game founder Hugo Koblet re-enters the top 10 after a week hiatus. Crevaison also joins the top ranks while del1962 and Sneekes fall out of the top10.

Nice to be back figuring after a couple of months in the doldrums.

Hope to farm a few points in the Alps and LFW this week too. I have a long way to catch up though after a speedy start Down Under.

I had a mechanical.

Quite a sizeable team for LFW ... a maligned race that I really enjoy. Well, the last 30 minutes anyway.
Some hope for minor placings +5 points ... but Seixas is pretty neutral for this game, as is Cosnefroy.

I don't think I have ever had that many riders in a one day race.

Ya, this race is sort of the sweet spot for attracting both most puncheurs but also hard and steep enough finish that purer climbers also want to give it a go. And those types of riders tend to be more overrepresented in this game than for example pure sprinters or rouleurs.

After a nearly perfect start to the year, I'm starting to experience some bad luck and gaps in my team are being exposed.

Tiberi, Landa and Uijdebroeks didn't do the business in the Basque Country. Teutenberg and Zingle appear to be used as helpers

And some of my almost picks (Riccitello, Tobias Hallan Johannessen) are doing well.

So I'm starting to experience the normal emotions of this game - regret and disappointment. I preferred the smugness of having made good picks and having a 500 point lead.

I'm sure I will be getting no sympathy.

I agree about LFW. In the same way as MSR and the 'old' Champs Elysees sprint - you know what you are going to get and it doesn't disappoint.

Unless O'Connor has a massive peak planned for the Giro, he won't be breaking even. Disaster of a pick.

On the other hand, Vlasov continues to chip away...

Charmig
Foldager
Hellemose
Honoré
Kamp
Kron
Withen

So, I have three riders who are yet to start their seasons; Storm, Weis, and Lindholm.
As well as four other riders who are yet to score any points; Hellemose, Dalby, and the two "lesser Pedersens".

Okay, Asbjørn, no pressure; just finish FW tomorrow.

There is a potential fun little competition between us over who will score more points, hindley or o'xonner. Because I'm sure you would much rather have o'conner.
