Great pointNot to speak of his tts which should be a cheatcode in oneweekers.
Although the 1weekers are also less tt-biased than before

I'm not here to bash Remco, and if he were a stock I'd buy the dip right now, but the fact that people consistently argue he is the 3rd best GC rider and he just has 1 Vuelta win from back in 2022 to his name is definitely pretty wild. It's odd that he has demonstrated every skill needed to be a dominant force in isolation - ITTs, climbing, classic style days - and yet he just never seems to put it all together in the same race.Evenepoel being on there, with Almeida and Ayuso having checked off more than him, is pretty wild.
The problem with Remco is he was a dominant force (climbing) only in the Vuelta. In any other stage race, he never was dominant.I'm not here to bash Remco, and if he were a stock I'd buy the dip right now, but the fact that people consistently argue he is the 3rd best GC rider and he has 1 Vuelta win from back in 2022 to his name is definitely pretty wild. His TdF 2024 also made a strong case for him being third best GC rider, more so than his Vuelta win IMO.I'm not here to bash Remco, and if he were a stock I'd buy the dip right now, but the fact that people consistently argue he is the 3rd best GC rider and he just has 1 Vuelta win from back in 2022 to his name is definitely pretty wild. 4 Tours >> RoglicUntil that changes Roglič should be in first column, considering he won the most.
4 Tours >> Roglic
This is the correct way, you can compose your own list as you like. It's uncommon to gather such statistics for comparison on where the very top athlete is listed in third place. So please ditch the bias and correct that. Once some other rider does better then Rogla, then you can push Rogla back. Until then the top one should be listed in top spot and challengers some level below that.
It's perfectly correct. You can create your own table as you like.@AmRacer
Factually it's not correct, as the best athlete in some metric should come on top, but OK you don't want to change the bias. Fine.

The table is clearly indicated on how the order is measured. Like @AmRacer said, if you want to organize it by wins then go right ahead.@AmRacer

No argument there.Almeida is clearly better than Ayuso though. He has more stage race victories and better GT results, and according to @noob he also has by far the nicest voice in cycling.
I haven't listed other active GT winners as well, maybe one of them will pull off a Simon in the future.Almeida is clearly better than Ayuso though. He has more stage race victories and better GT results, and according to @noob he also has by far the nicest voice in cycling.
Bernal has better chance than half of them.I'll edit the table (Suisse) and also update during the season.
Did I get it right?
Missing any rider?

The best athlete is on top, Pogacar is clearly better than Roglic in all metrics of stage racing bar wins due to Roglic racing more of them. Vingegaard has shown to be better as well. Unfortunately your bias is showing and maybe we now know why that view of Roglic was shown in the previous race.
Correct mistake I made when missing an X or marking the wrong race. Yes.When you first published the table you were open to correct the mistakes.
I feel that the title of this thread and metrics used in the table clearly show on what the correct order should be. Currently the best athlete in this metrics is placed third and the closest two challengers occupy top two spaces. No bias on my or your or OP side can change that fact. There are certain number of X or empty cells in the table and the athlete with highest count of X is not listed on top, first column.
Is there any other metrics related thread on this forum, on where that is the case? For the top athlete in some metrics to not occupy the top spot?
What's preventing you from creating your own table? The top athlete is first in my table.@AmRacer
So what exactly is preventing you to put the top athlete in the first column and the challengers behind? Like it's done in all other threads when comparing some metrics?

It's not an error. Create your own table as you like.I mean what is wrong with pointing out an error in you table? Then explain to me on how the data in your table backs your claim, that the top athlete in this metrics is in first column in the table. It's clearly not.
Nope, it's the truth. Create your own table with your own rules.@AmRacer
I see, it's more of a wish list, more of on what you would actually like it to be and not that much about what data actually says. Fine. Thanks, that explains it.
