Hey nicely done by Davis! He had a good jump but was too far from the finish line...

It seems JJ Haedo went down badly.

If you guys saw heaedo down, then you should have seen me. I was right next to him. I run over some cervelo guys foot to get there, as he had somehow managed to get flung into the crowd and no one realised him, but he got up and rode away. I offered to translate since the on site doctor couldnt speak much english or any spanish, but in the end he managed to get the message across.

The doctor said it was just a little blood, and heado didnt look to bad, just resting cos the race was over, though he was told to see a doctor afterwards just in case.

when he stood up i tried to talk to him in spanish but he didnt even look at me (pr**k):p

Oh and dont be surprised if cervelo dont turn up tomorow. On the way back i saw a number of teams heading south, (where tomorows startline is) , saxo were on the side of the road completely lost, studying maps while the cervelo bus was bizzarely going in the opposite direction

Oh sh**t. Now it all makes sence. Heados brother wasn’t injured. He was standing there waiting for him and they were talking. I had no idea it was his brother, just some domestique from saxo.

But the problem is I shouted in Spanish to jj “your brother is good but I think you are better”- you know, because even though the support was good from the locals, i wanted to show some more personal support to heado and make him smile after the crash. I had no idea his hermano was taking part and more importantly that it was he who was stadning there waiting for him. No wonder he didn’t look at me.

another stage for the sprinters I think. :)

Yep... Is another stage for the sprinters... the thing with this stage is the distance... 220+kms... some riders are not really adapted to this looong stages... So is possibly to see some riders struggling with the high speeds at the end of the stage... My picks will be:

Winner: Greipel, JJ Haedo (if he is not really injured), Benatti...
Darkhorses: Allan Davis (He did great yesterday), a breakaway...
