But then, after trying the new saddle, he felt the difference. His weight rested on his pelvic bones instead of the crotch area, which formerly pressed against the saddle’s nose. During his sleep, when he wore a monitor, the measure known as “percent of time erect” increased to 28 percent from 18 percent.

I would like to see a picture of this monitor.

Most likely a sleeve with elastic material with stretch gauges on it.

Almost forgot, they don't even show the saddle? Why?

Do you guys really worry about erections that much? As long as they show up on time your saddle is fine.

If you are training properly there is no time for erections or sex all energey spent on recovery.
I think the saddle is Specialised toupe BG but even that wont help when you are knackered from training.

Not every ride needs to be a training ride. I've gone on recovery rides with GF and done it in the cornfields more than once. Helps take the tedium out of training. Ya outta try it.

Have to incorporate this into my interval training!

If you can manage to sleep at all -- much less get wood -- with an electronic thingamabob wired to your naughty bits, I think that says far more about your personal sexual peccadilloes than your bicycle saddle.
