Nah - Goss won the opening stage. I didn't see the finish so I don't know if he handed Renshaw the win or not. With Renshaw leading him out, I presume they had a slight break on the others and he did hand it to him.

Shame that Rasmussen was disqualified - I missed a chance to make some back with Porte's strong ride.

I'll probably wait till the Vuelta now. Wasn't a good week.

We still have Hamburg and the Eneco Tour, Eneco was good to me last year, we'll see.

In a bunchsprint at those odds, you have more to lose then to win

Renshaw wasn't handed the win. I've seen stage 1 and 4 sprint finishes, and in both I'm fairly sure HTC didn't use either Renshaw or Goss as a leadout man, and just let both sprint. In the first stage Renshaw would have finished 2nd, but he put his hand up and stopped pedalling, for Goss's win, 10m from the line. Stage 4, Renshaw was comfortabley infront. Goss was never going to catch him.

Guys, I need help finding an online sportsbook, that takes US customers, that has more cycling betting options than just the winner of the TdF. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Eneco Tour

Overall

$250 Porte over Kloden @ $1.70

Prologue

$250 Martin over Boasson-Hagen @ $1.70
$250 Thomas over Van Emden @ $1.87

Had Thomas over Van Emden myself - beaten by 2 seconds. You were even more unlucky with Martin which was less than 1 second.

I will try to post some of my picks in the coming days here. Do you only bet match bets or do you bet on stage/overall winners too?

I had a bet on Lars Boom to win today at 15.0

I didn't realise any sportsbooks took US customers!

I presume you've tried Pinnacle and they don't. All the UK and Irish firms won't accept US business so you're wasting your time with them.

Maybe you could try the Scandanavian facing books - Bet24, Nordicbet, Betsafe or Unibet. Then there are the other European ones like expekt, betclic, bwin.

Ouch - that hurt yesterday losing a bet by less than a second. What was it, about half a second?

No, I do overall bets too when something decent comes up.

$200 Greipel @ $2.50
$50 McEwen top 3 @ $6

St. 3
Tuft +229 over Devolder LARGE

I have no idea why Svein isn't favored here as he tries to conserve every second of his advantage.

It there are no odds yet on the lay-side, how do you start with it??
There is €20 to back Van Hummel at 10, then i can lay Van Hummel at the same odds?? Or can i take lower odds??

If you're talking about a betting exchange then you can place back or lay bets at whatever price you like - just change the odds in the box. Most of the bets I place on exchanges are unmatched initially

As long as no one matches the bets its quite useless. Who will take a bet on Van Hummel at 10?

I'm virtually putting most the profit from the Tour on the line.

King of Mountains

$600 Moncoutie @ $4

Overall H2H

$400 Rodriguez over Sastre @ $1.70

Sprint Classification

$500 Bennati over Weylandt @ $1.66

Stage 1

$300 Columbia top 3 @ $3
$100 Columbia to win @ $10
$300 Columbia over Katusha @ $1.66

I won't be doing much stage betting if Stage 1 goes to crap.
