Time for the members to officially decide the best riders of the 2013 season!
During the holidays we'll have many polls, each for every category of rider. The winners will receive the most prestigious CNF Awards, and Dan will try to arrange an interview with them.

The polls will be created shortly, and will be closed at January 6th. the candidates of each poll have been determined already, but if a non-candidate gets a considerable amount of nominees in a thread the mods will add him to the poll option. So if you want to vote for a rider who's not in the poll, wait! Try to nominate him first.

As soon as I create the polls I'll link them in this post, which will serve as a reference and sticked. You can also use this thread as a general discussion of the awards, but to discuss about a specific award please use the poll thread.

PS: In the next days we'll start a clinic version too. This one, in the PRR, is doping free. Remember it and vote accordingly. :)

List of polls:
Best climber Winner: Quintana
Best sprinter Winner: Kittel
Best classic rider Winner: Cancellara
Best TTer Winner: Martin
Best U25 Winner: Sagan
Most aggressive rider Winner: Nibali
Most surprising winner Winner: Horner
Best domestique Winner: Porte
Best one-day race Winner: Paris-Roubaix
Best stage race Winner: Tirreno-Adriatico
Best breakaway win Winner: Hansen and Visconti

There's no such thing as an off season, except for three weeks in July.

Right now there's cyclocross. Cycling never stops.

This is the Professional Road Racing subforum though, there is an off-season in that.

I think we need a most heroic finish outside of qualification time, Taylor Phinney in T-A and King in the TTT at the tour spring to mind.

Or perhaps a general heroic defeat, this could include Tony Martin's massive solo break in the vuelta

Another poll could be best stage win from a break, Bakelants tour and Adam Hansen in the Giro spring to mind, Veilleux in the Dauphenine, Trentin at the tour, Barguil at the Vuelta and other nominanations of course
