Transfer deadline for a midseason transfer was the 15th. So it seems that he already signed for DQS earlier, could be between the 1st and the 15th actually, and was still allowed to race for CCC. The Dauphine ended on the 16th. That's interesting.

there's no room anymore for Stijn Vandenbergh at Ag2R. He'd like to continue for a final year though, and Alpecin, Wanty and B&B are interested in signing him (according to Het Nieuwsblad)

A good signing, still at the right age to contribute, especially as Froome and Thomas have a lot to prove to get back to the highest level now.
I think he needed the change since he was not performing at the highest level. Ineos were desperate for British riders but not for GC guys. I donot think G has much to prove. If he trains well and keeps his weight ideal he will be at the pointy end next year

I find the A.Yates move to Ineos baffling, except for the money - There would have better options in the peleton - Then again if Haig moves to Bahrain Merida that would be even more baffling considering the options on the table.

According to La Gazzetta Aleotti is turning pro with Bora. He was supposed to sign with CCC, but it looks like the team is falling apart.

I really think McClay could work at Ineos as he is good enough to do well at smaller races but never get big enough to start trying to upset the pecking order

They already have Lawless as a British sprinter for smaller races and he is better than McLay in more challenging terrain.
