Could he be a great fit for Uno-X?

I hope they don't sign too many riders in their late 20s or early 30s. There's not much #development in that.
I'm not a big fan of Kamp's personality either, but it can't be denied that he's a pretty good rider on his best days and that he would strengthen the team.

Jakob Egholm could be another potential signing for them, and his brother Kristian could join their development team.

Could you elaborate on this personality matter? My interest has peaked.

I think he's just a guy with his own ideas of doing things. He doesn't have much interest in helping others. When he won the national title and when he was fifth in Amstel he went out of his way in the post-race interviews to sound like it meant absolutely nothing to him. I have also heard that he sometimes suddenly travels to Colombia of all places for long training periods which apparently have not been cleared with the team - I don't know much about this particular thing, though.

In this day and age with UCI points, relegations and so on, not signing Kamp sounds pretty stupid. He's a very good one-day racer and can get lots of good secondary places in big races, but probably not much more than that (which should be valuable in its own right). Not a great helper, not consistent in stage racing, apparently a funky personality... sure, who cares? He has the ability to net you a good amount of points for probably not that much.

Well, DSM will probably not be too interested...

Sounds like a bad fit for Uno-X then.

Sounds perfect for DSM.
