Hehe, he can have Morgados spot in the classics. God knows Morgado did not like those races.
Morgado said last week he wants to come back to RRV and he’s biggest idol and the rider we want to become is WVA. So I guess he could a taste for the classics. Make snese, bc he damn good at it already!

Pogacar, Wellens, Politt, Varmeersch, Bjerg, Mogardo, Rui.
^ The strongest classics team in the peloton?

This is a great team. I have a feeling Pogi will win 4 monuments next year with this team. MVP without Phillipsen will need to be agressive in MSR.

I think Philipsen will stay.

But Remco going to be a big ''helper'' for Pogacar. 1 more team to make the race hard in MSR and RRV.

Evenepoel has zero shot at Ronde, given that the Brabantse Pijl cobbles were already too much for him in 2022...

The Brabantse Pijl cobbles were too much for him because he was the only one riding on the cobbles.

At Ronde, the gutters are fenced off so differences should be smaller.

I don't give him much of a chance either when it comes down to a straight up shoot out on the Koppenberg or Paterberg but I think there are other ways to win the Ronde.

He was also struggling with Moskesstraat, where everyone is on the cobbles.

I don't remember anyone winning 4 monuments in the same season, it would be a legendary achievement.

To be more realistic, 3 would be already legendary especially if Pogačar also wins the Tour or the Worlds even.

Gigi Zimmermann extends with Wanty until 2026. Great news, especially since he was rumoured to be close to joining Cofidis.

Rota (linked with Cofidis as well), Mihkels, Marit, Herregodts and Teunissen are the other high profile riders ending their contract with the team at the end of the season. Hopefully they can retain Lorenzo and Madis, who should be the most coveted riders.

Rota was rumoured to have extended with Intermarché too last week (together with Zimmerman).

Think Cofidis is just in panic mode and tries to get everyone decent, but I don't see why they would go there instead of Intermarché.

so now we can spend the rest of the summer speculating where Ludwig, Cavalli, & Brown are gonna end up.

Trek, Roland, & Jayco?

There is a chance that Brown will not be in the peleton in 2025 - It would be a major surprise if Brown ended up back at Jayco unless they patch up their differences.

Vollering and Uttrup on the same side would be catastrophic. I mean, I'd enjoy it, but they'd have to run all women's races after the men's in case they win it, as Adam Hansen would be getting all the men's races neutralised from all the saltwater on the tarmac after their post-race interviews.

Can we expect Buchmann to tiurn up in this thread soon?
He is definitely leaving Bora. He has been linked, surprise, with Cofidis.
It was rumoured he had an agreement with a French team, hence Cofidis seemed the most sensible option.
