right on
i found those comments here about a conflict with the team very unbelievable
I am honestly waiting for one of the people getting lifelong contracts to decide they want to be the next Rebellin/Sevilla/Mancebo. Imagine Visma still paying millions for Van Aert every year in the 2040s. It would be cycling's answer to Bobby Bonilla.Pedersen life long contract.
I hope that all the teams have some contractual clauses which defines the lifelong or the amount of money is connected to results/UCI points/races they are doing. Otherwise it would be just stupid... I think the lifelong is more a thing for the media and fansI am honestly waiting for one of the people getting lifelong contracts to decide they want to be the next Rebellin/Sevilla/Mancebo. Del Grosso should move towards being a genuine star next year and the heir apparent to MVDP for team leader.Alpecin have Senna Remijn, Sente Sentjens and Dockx coming through who are excellent talents (though the latter more a climber type), they should be alright in the long term, though they will need someone a bit more experienced surely for the next year or two to control in the classics.

Anything worth noting for Wanty that you know as Lotto / belgian cycling insider which could be shared?
Oh, another rider who was in Abarcá's feeder, passed up for promotion and then Unzué pays up to bring back into the fold, just like Samitier, Óscar Rodríguez, Pablo Castrillo...It's nothing special
- Adria possibly leaving Red Bull for Movistar (Marca also adds Silva and Garcia Pierna to Movistar who are close to a new big second sponsor)
I'm not surprised. Yes he performed well mainly in smaller races but they have a boatload of expensive guys they signed for the same races that Adria wants to headline (Pithie, Lazkano, van Gils, Fisher Black). So going to Movistar is great for Roger he can go for his own result in every spring race he has on his calendar. Also it will be easier to go stage hunting in the GTs which should be his next step in his career. It's surprising that BORA hasn't retained him. He's one of the few who has performed well since they signed him.
Good boy Enric!but Mas declined the offer
