shame I hoped he'd go to Uno-X especially now after the arrival of Ayuso
I agree completely. I don't see a clash for 2026 really, for me Lidl-Trek have a bigger issue splitting Milan and Pedersen if Mads wants a crack at completing the sprinters jersey sets. Ayuso clearly wants the TdF, and whilst Skjelmose could also target that, he only really has one successful GC bid and that was for 5th in a Vuelta. I'd like to see him target the Ardennes as usual (no issues, Ayuso has never raced a single Monument so far and now isn't the time to start), and some sort of Giro/Vuelta/Worlds/Euros program after. He can do Itzulia, Juan can do Romandie/Catalunya and they can split PN/TA like most teams do. However, should both excel in 2026 at their target races, then Lidl-Trek have a massive problem for 2027 onwards if both are keen on the TDF. Skjelmose on Uno-X would be greatIn fact, you could argue that with the arrival of Ayuso, it might have been smarter of him to wait until the end of next year before deciding on his future.
Just in case him and Ayuso really don't work on the same team...
Cerny is still looking for a pro deal. If it doesn't work out, he can return to Elkov KasperSerry, Huby, Warlop and Cerny are leaving Soudal Quickstep end of the year.
