Decathlon has money and need more time for Seixa to develop, I think he will renew.

I'm more interested in see if Red Bull is going to try to sign De Lie.

With the way Seixas finished last season, I would be slightly concerned if he isn't close to, or already at Gall's level. But the would deffo need support in future.

Vlasov and Martinez have contracts for 2027, Benson said. I don't think Fisher Black will develop into a GC rider. More likely for one-day races. Finn will come up in 2027.
Vlasov was very close to a Transfer to Astana last offesason. Such Things can always happen

It would be crazy if RBH didn't cut some of their GC options loose next winter, already there are too many captains for one ship and the likes of Pellizzari and Finn need some space to develop. It is therefore absolutely the right time to say goodbye to Roglic.

Why would he sign elsewhere if he is still able to lead a GT?
Because he's not the #1 at Red Bull and he isn't getting first pick in the schedule. I'm pretty sure really wants that.

Also, I really doubt Red Bull would pay him the most if they offer him an extension, as one of the big reasons his contract was so big to begin with was that he had to pay off his own buy out out of Jumbo-Visma.

Red Bull need to trim their squad in terms of GC leaders, and while Roglic is clearly not one of the weakest ones they have, he is the 2nd most expensive one and you would question the ROI you get on having him in the team.

Now the question where Roglic should go and what team should want to get him is an interesting one and it really heavily depends on what Roglic wants out of his (presumably) final deal and what the team wants.

Tudor could be a good match

He can easily be #1 on a bunch of WT teams. Just not Red Bull, Visma or UAE. If he truly doesn't want to race the Tour anymore even going back to Visma would be an option.

Mollema is retiring at the end of the year. Trek will want to sign an old guy on a 4 year contract again.

Don’t see why he needs to leave RBH if he can still ride a Giro/Vuelta there then. Also I thought you were implying he still wants to earn a lot. That’s not possible at all lot of teams.

I think Red Bull won't extend at anywhere near the money he currently makes.

A lot depends on which races Roglic wants to do and how much he's about that sole leadership right now. If he wants the same 4M or whatever a year and TdF leadership I don't think signing him makes sense for many teams. If he wants to race Giro+Vuelta for 3M a year I think he's a nobrainer for almost any team.

It's a bit hard to read into Red Bull's decisions for this season, but what I think is most likely is they did not want 3 leaders at the Tour, so they picked Evenepoel and Lipowitz, and Roglic did not really want to race the Giro again, probably because he burnt himself out last year.

A lot depends on this season to see if he’s still worth 3M. It’s not like 2025 showed that.

There's a lot of B tier filler crap GC riders going for 2M+. Van Aert is on more and a lifetime contract.

Catalunya, Peyragudes and Ventoux alone are enough proof he's worth that.

I think it also depends on the contract length he wants/expects.
If he is happy with 1 year, he should be able to snatch a good deal if he performs this season.
