Well, i picked him for stage 9. The only positive thing today is that he showed he is capable of winning that particular stage :)

Since he seems to be in form, now I think he could score for you Arredondo in stage 9. Not that you really need it. ;)

I am not happy with my pics at the moment. Matthews, with his allergies screwed me over today. Tomorrow Aru will get me some much neded points hopefully

But you look good in the standings, so it seems a pretty solid T-20 you put together with your inside infos about AST (like knowing Landa is the last man standing for Aru, while I guessed it might be Kangert). :)

Some pretty good shake ups atop, in the middle, and down-below-the-line in the standings, thanks to the long awaited arrival of DeGreef... err... Monfort. :) ... and ofc because of the stage scorers today.
Former world champ Mortand for example, as usual, is waking up late, and moves up.
And Sceptic isn´t in the lead for the first time since a felt 1.000 years.

Here are the...

Thanks! 5 times double points for exact position :D So nothing is for sure right now :)
But finger crossed for Monfort to keep his 20th place etc. :D

Congrats too for your first time ever lead. Certainly 5 positions to hold will be hard if not impossible, but "our" Monfort must stay in. And I am confident. This guy you can trust. The better version of DeGreef (who sometimes finished 21st instead of 20th ;) )

Wow our division is close, just 1 point separating 6 (!) people!

The "death group". Will be a thriller right up to the final stage when riders drink champagne already. Everything possible, from catching ILove for the title to playing "line-ball" on the wrong side...

Matthews has allergies? Wasn't aware...hopefully he's fine soon. I have him for two stages in a row coming up.

I don't worry about the provisionals this early in the race. :) At least I've scored the most stage points (including what I carried over) in my division...:p

It looks like break might take it, but still here is a look at today's tips:

Group Anquetil stage 8:
5x( )Contador (vladimir, Price_sky, Tigerion, Pantani_lives, FoxxyBrown1111)
2x Pozzovivo (Geraint Too Fast, Poursuivant)
1x Aru (Vino attacks everyone)
1x Porte (ILovecycling)

well, Pozzovivo picks are no longer the winning ones :( and I have to cheer against AC today (which is unreal :p )

Standings after stage 8 are updated... in a hurry... ok, ok, that was easy, since no scorers today. ;)
The more telling and important provisionals will follow in about one hour.

Well, there is an interesting stage tomorrow. Eight different picks in the Anquetil division, and my hopes are with Chernetskiy who is yet to be in the top 100 of a stage after his crash in stage two... So obviously hoping for another stage where no-one scores any stage points :D Or maybe Sergei has waited for this stage to show what he did in Catalunya

I realise now that I have messed up a stage. my pick for tomorrow is... Viviani!!

I remember almost doing similar at last years Vuelta, think i ended up with Contador winning a flattish stage before double checking! :D

I'm afraid my score is biased upwards. 11 in T-20 and 5 in correct spot. Can the Giro finish tomorrow please?

So last game I only scored stage points 7 times. This round I've already scored 4 times....hopefully more to come.

Tomorrows stage is one of those that's really hard to predict. I'm worried about those in my division that have Ulissi. I think they have the best chance of scoring.
