Just happy that I picked Martin for the ITT and didn't fall into the Froome trap. A little sad that Tommy V couldn't get the 'W' today but 2nd is good too.

19? I have Cav. Yeah!

Surprised only 5 picked Voeckler for Luchon.

It was upfront picks... I thought Nibali would have to make time up with his descending skills. Still, no excuses. My T-20 is the worst ever, injuries/abandons or not.

Don´t get greedy... ;)

I know. Bigger reason to pick him upfront for this stage, than if you could choose yesterday (in which case Rogers was the obvious pick)

You could have either joined the game, and destroy the competition, or at least have told me upfront in a secret PM. ;)

Yes, like foxxy said...I thought Nibbles was going to need to make up some time on AC and Froome. Things ain't so hot for me...Costa is out. I've got 6 GC guys out of the Tour and others how simply aren't there.

Correlation between abandons and T-20s;

players with 8 outs (abandons) have an average of 9.5 T-20s, and 2.5 riders "off-target" (still riding, but not within the T-20s).

Full-Table:
8-9.5-2.5 (2 players) 79%
7-10.2-2.8 (5) 78%
6-11.6-2.4 (21) 83%
5-11.7-3.3 (19) 78%
4-12.5-3.5 (6) 78%
3-14.0-3.0 (1) 82%

all players;
5.5-11.6-2.9 (54) 80%

Best conversion rate: The guy from up north. Always consistent trou the years. The master of the game, yet zero championships, zero medals. ;)
5 outs, 15 T-20s, no off targets = 100.0% conversion rate. It´s the first overall pick... Sasquatch.

Seems I am pretty much done (64% conversion), thus post #3, last sentence, small letters, and italic will occur. :D Speak; going deep into rule details... and find out I will be automatically qualified. ;)

2 scored with Nibali today. Congrats.

Good & bad, but not good enough... Valv still 2nd (hope Peraud crushes him in the TT), and more important Horner is still inside T-20. Whatta phuck. I hate this guy more and more. It all started with the ToC 2011, climaxed (at least I thought) at the circus Vuelta 2013, but it still gets worse.... Where are you AFLD?

OK, only three options left to get Horner out of T-20: Gadret who can´t time trial (omg, that is actually a non option), and GThomas... LOL, now I have to root for two Sky guys. Bizarre.
... or 3rd option: AFLD is doing their job ASAP and gets outer space grandpa out of TdF, and send him back to Alpha Centauri or wherever he comes from!

Actually Foxy, you need 3 guys to pass him up now:

18 Christopher Horner (USA) Lampre - Merida 0:34:48
19 Mikel Nieve Iturralde (Spa) Team Sky 0:36:09
20 Michal Kwiatkowski (Pol) Omega Pharma-Quick Step 0:36:41
21 John Gadret (Fra) Movistar Team 0:37:01
22 Geraint Thomas (GBr) Team Sky 0:37:25
23 Tanel Kangert (Est) Astana Pro Team 0:47:04

I want Kwia out which I think will happen despite him being a Good TTer. He's going downhill fast and I predict he loses a boatload of time again tomorrow. He lost 26 minutes today

Horner & Mollema right on the spot for you....
Will be my first ever laterne rouge I guess... and it looked sooo good during the stage (Horner wasn´t in sight, Valv dropped by Pinot, and Nieve in the lead group).
OK, tomorrow is another chance....
Me too, I hope Kwia cracks completely. A whole lot of guys have him.... Another great option I didn´t realize in the heat of the moment. :)

Lol thank you guys,if Kwia will crack tomorrow,im fvcked too:eek:

Thank god for panzerwagen tho,I hope he will smash it on saturday:D

Kwia will drop out of top 20 for sure, but I'll likely get that point back with Martin in the TT, so status quo in the end. No luck with picking riders for the correct spots so far, which to be honest is a 100% lottery..

No laterne rouge... so far so good... and tomorrow my comeback will set in with Peraud, and Mollema dropping to 8th. Truly hope Ten Dam is a better TTler than him. I need Mollema at 8th. 7th OTOH is the worst position he can hold. A ton of guys have him there. ;)
I think it will be a thrilling last TT. Like the one we had at the Giro a couple of years ago with some amazing last second comebacks...

... and tomorrow OFC.
Just have looked at Ten Dam vs Mollema in TTs. Doesn´t look good for TD, so Mollema better cracks tomorrow before TD does (as it usual was in this TdF).
It´s a nice tight CG picture, everything still possible, and Sunday the last hope for the hopeless like me that Kittel scores a full point...

BTW, I think I´ll do a division draw for the Vuelta too. Even tough it wasn´t on live TV, it was kind of funny for the TdF. I think I´ll leave the division winners, me, and the three best runner-ups in their division and draw the other qualifiers to the divisions. That means the Anquetil division will be the worst (again). Good luck to all that will qualify to be drawn into my group. ;)

Nah I think Mollema is where he should be...

Me on the other hand is way too high! Thought I was a certainty to get knocked out first round... Now I'm just hoping the top 20 is set as luckily jagged three correct positions... I do have to wonder what the hell I was thinking with Andy instead of Frank and also picking J Rod for the top 20. Probably should of at least found out their stated ambitions before!

Anyway here's to Rolland doing a super long range attack for the win tonight!

Not likely though, but one can dream.

All the best you keep at least one.
I also got hit hard by picking JRod. As I said before; I knew my major blunder instantly when he started losing 20 minutes per day from the 1st stage onwards, literally.
Problem with stated ambitions, you can be screwed big time too. Happened to me when Pinotti talked himself into the T-10 a couple of years ago (to finish 50ish or so).
Long range, speak of... Nieve is in. :)
Hope he doesn´t crack like Kiryienka yesterday. So I am unsure if I should be happy or not. Certainly I am with Kwia dropping early. :)

You look good so far. Who are your "problem" riders? I think Horner is safe for you, even though I don´t see him. Let me check the RR thread...
