Wtf did happen  +4 points in 1 stage? I guess I must have hit 1 or probably 2 on the right spot, so that doesn't mean anything with such a long way to go.

Talansky, Rolland, and DMartin coming back into the T-20 + 1 spot (DMartin). Thus a pretty solid foundation.
Unfortunately I can´t say this about me, having 3 on the spot for now. Pretty unsteady, since Contador and Fuglsang are unlikely to stay where they are.
OTOH, my T-20 kicks in, with no less than 15. If I only could do proper stage predictions.

T-20s:
16 (1 player, Walle)
15 (5 players)
14 (11)
13 (8)
12 (2)
11 (2, Arredondo, Kiilike)

That's better

Just need Sepulveda to move into the top 20.

That would be a steal and safe the deal, since no one else has him, but ofc he was on my very short list of 89 riders. ;)

I was surprised I was the only one with Sepulveda. I thought a few more would have had him. He's moving up every day. 20th at the moment.

Have not given up on D Marti. He is 22nd, 5 min to T20. That is not "gone for good"....yet.
People get excited or worried but it is still early days. I was leading my group in the Giro for a a week or so and on the second last day a minor change in GC bumped me down to 5th. This game is open until the very last day - that's the beauty of it compare to most other games.

OK, damage control... Sagan scores only 0.5 (as usual), Bakelants plays the spoiler to Degenkolb :D
Ofc, my pick Matthews rides half dead, no chance, he is no Horner ;)
Was rooting for the break, but as said, damage was controlled...

Standings after 13 are updated... faster than lightning
11 scorers, 10 with Sagan, Vladimir with Bakelants

Damn, I screwed this up for myself, by missing out on that nasty kick in the end. My Kristoff bet looks silly now

Good Bakelants-pick, vladimir!

And look who's ninjaing his way up the rankings one place at a time

The one and only ninja is (was) Mortand... You (almost) ruined your crown with peaking early in the Giro and TdF now...

This game is open until the very last day - that's the beauty of it compare to most other games.

True, thus here we go again with another shuffle up. Happens even in transition stages...

Yes it would be a perfect ending now, Friday the 13th stage. And Fuglsang back to 18th where he belongs to... Unluckily, 8 more stages

BTW, congrats Pricey... your first ever lead, correct? Enjoy the day in the 35 degrees sun. It might be the last. :)

Thanks Foxxy! Yes I think it's my first lead. To be honest I'm just happy to have extended my lead Iover the bottom 2 with just over a week to go. Although I will be losing a point off Quintana soon as I can't see him staying 3rd.

Ha, me too. Always looking down to the line. I am far from thinking division title since my provo points are weak (3 on spot right now)...

If we could combine my T-20s and your stage picks... the perfect beast. On the long run a recipe for success.

Maybe in future you could team up people with each other and their scores are combined :p

Yeah, like a TTT or two-man bobsled... why not... as an extra comp where people can chose their game partner and discuss picks per PMs...

More serious: @ all; Since we´ll have an inside-cut during the Vuelta (see post #2, tournament rule 4.), how about Wild-card picks for the stages after the cut?
Like 1 stage wild-card, and two T-20s wildcards?

Yeah that would be a good idea Foxxy, the ones that are lucky enough to make the final week get to change 1 stage pick and also 2 T-20's seems fair. Either swapping a T-20 rider for one that has a better or chamce or moving a T-20 rider up/down positions. Eg I pick Landa to finish 2nd however in the final week he is winning so I change his position to 1st.

Yeah one position swap (which is actually two changes for possible two extra points), or two T-20 rider changes... Sounds good.

Basically it means to make the job even harder than it is already... Sifting trou stats, interviews, stage profils, previews, and the heck else... and then coming up with a T-20 that is good for "two weeks CG riders" & good enough for the 3rd week with two named extra riders for the T-20. Holy cow! :D

Oh my, that was hefty. Al Pacino having Uran made me suffer until the end. Good that Cummings got to the french riders, otherwise Uran would have scored a half point as most likely 3rd.
