Erviti's only the 2nd Spaniard to finish in the top-10 in Flanders.

So he's the first Spanish-born rider in the top 10...?
In Flanders, yes. Not bad taking into account that the first one to mark cobbled races as a season goal is yet to come. He wasn't even in the provisional start list of the race thread OP.

then the provisional startlist was made by an idiot. Only Devolder and Boonen have more starts in Flanders than ERviti in the current peloton.

Great race again by Imanol. He discovered himself as a great cobble rider.

I think he is more suited to Flanders then Roubaix, but he rode great today too.

Well, he's a must-pick for the Worlds now, anyway. Even if he's just set to work pulling, the Spanish don't have many rouleur engines with anything like this level, and then they just have to hope that the race breaks up enough for him to be of use, since obviously the likes of Lobato aren't going to win against a world of Kittels, but the course is never going to benefit the Valverdes and Puritos of this world.

Erviti, Luísle, Izagirres, Castro as helpers I think.

A rider who can analyse the current cycling very well. He anticipates the races by taking some time up front in a time where the favorites more and more are marking each other. It seems a simple tactic, but you still need the brave, intelligence and legs to do it. Imanol has it all

imanol is one of the best gregari in the peloton. i'm happy that he had such a day for himself
also seems that he's the next lastras in terms of image in the peloton, very respected.
Very underrated until now. Very pleased for him. Nice guy as well.

He has been very important for Quintana last years TdF. That ismore important for Movitar than a top ten in PR if everything goes well. Pf course he will has his oportunities there, as Amador has, but no more. iI he want more oportunities there he must go to other team as Flecha did.

Iti s not new that Erviti is a very good rider and a key man for Movistar.

I know Erviti is a good cyclist and important for Movistar, but what he did last 2 weekends was new and great!
