Then we get into TJ vs Atapuma sort of scenario in Suisse.

Criticism because he attacked against his teammate or, well, the same, because he didn't...
Uran hadn't GC classification in mind. Van Garderen had.

Uran rode good, he had a teammate up the road with a chance to win, you shouldn't work in those situations, you trust your teammate. Sometimes you win, sometimes you loose, but you can always count on that guy. And also, had he worked with Bardet he wouldn't be the strongest at the end, Dani and Ulissi would outsprint him

How come would Uran help Bardet? He had Woods ahead and with a faster sprint
Because he was strong enough to had a significant gap? Lopez vs. Woods, come on, we all know who is the strongest between those two.

He rode to lose. He lost.
To be fair, Woods has a decent sprint and Superman Lopez DNF the last 4 Italian one day races before Milano-Torino, I can understand why the team wanted to give him a shot.
Uran looked pretty pissed on the podium, but he's one of the main favourites for Lombardia and has a strong team.

Well, that's the exact reason why Uran not attacking today was tactically the right decision whereas TJ attacking with Atapuma up the road was also a good move.

The point i m making is that SKY with all their great riders had no one ...that is no one up there today

Even they left at home riders in better form ...If Landa is ill why was he leader ?/

And btw for the 2nd time Landa is not riding il Lombardia

Er...you might want to go look at their lineup...Landa is for sure listed to start on Sat.

Yeah you are right but he was not on the original lineup

Tinkoff on twitter

#GranPiemonte Into the final 25kms of the race & a lone leader (Rossetto) is within sight of the peloton now. It's crunch time!

and then

CCC SprandiPolkowice ‏@CCCProTeam 2m2 minutes ago

Rossatto is still in the front, with 19s gap and is chased by a 37-man bunch. 10km to go #GranPiemonte

Always nice to see a rider win in tricolore.
Funny thing is, he still hasn't won in a national champion's jersey :p

He's only ever won for the Italian team since June.
He wears the "tricolore" jersey also when he rides for national team instead the all-withe italy jersey.
The only difference is that the federazione italiana gives him one with correct colors. Not the orrible light green and red with white shoulders and sleeves made by Trek.
