Spekenbrink should seriously consider to fire Rudi Kemna & Matt Winston and hire Erik Breukink & Michael Boogerd instead to build a farm team that develops talents.

Have Vermaerke, Tusveld, Eekhof or Hamilton? Or Degenkolb for that matter? And do you think they would be equally motivated to show themselves the one time in their lives where the Tour was in their homeland?
I don't think he was out for a whole week, he sounded decently optimistic for the nationals in an interview with a Danish podcast.
Guess Nikias Arndt is leaving the team as well. He was quite good in Suisse.

Well didn't it develop to the current extent once Spekenbrink was more absent because of his illness and Kemna effectively became virtually the boss.
Why is Iwan actually shackled to Kemna? That's a good question.
Breukink becoming president wouldn't be bad either. Especially if Spekenbrink struggles with health anyway. Let Erik take control and get things back in order.

Yeah and with the team also bringing Dainese Kagh Andersen would have also added something to their sprint train, not to mention the fact that he could have helped the rest of the team on potential crosswinds stages. Also not bringing a good Danish rider who would deserve to be on the team when the race starts in Denmark is a stupid move, lots of free PR and extra media exposure...

Thymen should have told Kleikers straight up DSM forced him to obey their stupid team orders.
If DSM fires him from the race, just fill in litigation for damage compensation.

In hindsight it's easy to understand why Quickstep / Evenepoel let Arensman go, when you realize he's directed by the DSM muppets .

For a team where riders aren't even allowed to adjust their saddle and probably signed a paper forbidding them to do so, speaking out in public would be a bad idea.

The team is not unpopular because they don't win enough, but because their leaders are control freaks who don't care for their riders or the team but constantly pretend to do so when they can't deal with people having own minds and bodies.
