Inspired by the "The last Protour team without a victory?" thread. Guys like Quintana, Kittel, Greipel, Evans, Boonen and Porte are already off the list.

Discuss.

Its between Schlecks, Costa and Contador for me.

Most of the others will get a TT or sprinting type win sooner or later, leaving Gilbert who rides on a team which is flying this year.

Really? Costa?

His primary strength is his killer instinct. I'm certain it won't take long for him to get his first win in the stripes.

Contador depends entirely on whether he will show up in 2013 form or not. If he's as bad as last year, I doubt he'll will get any wins this year.

yea, but he will be much more watched this year. And hes not "best" at anything at this point. Difficult to win imo. I have already discounted Contador somewhat.

reckon Gilbert may struggle again this year.
Schlecks will have one win between them in June - Lux national champs (if that counts), unless Didier trumps them

Almost everyone's going to vote for the Schlecks here, and that's going to skew the poll. Plus they haven't made it back yet to the "star" level that guys like Froome, Sagan, Cance are at. Shouldn't have been included in the poll IMO.

Without them votes would be more evenly spaced out and more about predicting who would be the last star without a win. Also could lead to more discussion.

I highly doubt AC can repeat his success of winning a stage in San Luis...

but I voted Gilbert because he was all in for MSR this year and now thats ruined. AC will probably win a minor event eventually and netserk assures me it doesnt matter if they get disqualified after the fact so Im fairly confident in my assessment.

Reading the finale of a race? The only current riders I can think of who come close are LL Sanchez, Gerrans and Dan Martin.

Sure, Costa's not the best climber or sprinter but he's still decent at both and he's colder than the south pole in the middle of July. No mercy.

Possible, but its the "more watched" element which can make tactics much harder. We shall see.

The only thing between Costa and a win in stage 2 of Algarve is Kwia and Costa can easily outfox a 23 year old

What would be an interesting poll would be who will be first to a victory between Cav and Sagan
