I guess Ag2r is most likely to scoop up a winn in The tour and end this race?

Maybe not, I see Bardet has a commanding lead in the most-top10s-without-a-win championship this year, maybe he's going all in for that!? :p

If at one point he's well on his way to a win, and then proceeds to hit the brakes and let someone else win, then he probably is.
Don't think that's gonna happen though, could you imagine that interview?

Interviewer: What happened there? Why did you suddenly stop.

Bardet: I'm about to win the Cyclingnews forum's 'Most Top 10s Without a Win' competition.
And then he loses this competition to some 2nd rate sprinter who collects a dozen of top10's in autumn races held in China.
And by not winning it, he becomes the REAL winner.

But then, if he gets second in that competition, will that mean he's actually won it by virtue of not winning it?

Of course AG2R could still get a WT win before Cannondale, by having someone else claim that win. :p

I don't know, is there any other AG2R riders who look like winning anything this year? Could we get a poll going? Most likely AG2R rider to win a race this year, excluding Bardet?

I can imagine Bakelants getting a win, perhaps at the Tour de Pologne. I don't know AG2R's Tour team, but Pologne is held at the same time this year and I imagine will be a very secondary priority for most teams, so a team looking for a WT win could get it there.

Bakelants is on the long list of the tour.

Congratulations to Bardet for taking AG2R out of this competition today.

Congratulations to Cannondale for winning this thing. I felt this was going to happen from the beginning. It seems being pessimistic in your predictions is the best way to get them right if you're a person like me (I'm a Cannondale fan if someone hasn't noticed, yet).
