I think Visma will use the riders who won't get over Porte to keep it close until then so that the break won't survive Peille. Easier for Jorgenson to handle the situation on his own without riders to bridge up to.

Visma keeping the break in check would be one of the requirements for Pedersen to have a chance imo. A strange battle: Jorgenson vs Pedersen.

Mads made one of the biggest mistakes classics riders can't make. Going all out in PN, with a lot of rain and expect to be great in MSR. MVP made this mistake in the past.
