Matthew Brennan is the new Cat Ferguson Cavendish

Is this real potential or a flash in the pan?

Edit: actually come to think of it, you missed a once in a lifetime opportunity to use bishop brennan in a thread title.

At least people aren't using it when referring to Voigt.

TP is also getting tricky with Pogačar, Pidcock and Paper being ever so popular.

Yes, toilet paper is popular indeed. I don't immediately think of that when seeing TP in a post on the Cyclingnews forum, though.

They wrote an article on Sporza about him (from his ex-trainer, Pidcock's father). Saying in the end he's a young version of Wout Van Aert. And immediatly became 2nd today.
He loves the classics. Guess we'll see him shine in the next years already.

No more amateur stuff for the kid, plans have been changed!

"We'll do the Volta Limberg, and then head to Romandie. It's got a similar profile to here, so there's a few stages where maybe I can do something," he said, "I'm looking forward to it."
Pull him today and send him to Gent-Wevelgem

You can drop out and start another race but I think you need permission from the organisers. GW will probably just be for the main sprinters though given that there aren't too many teams with motivated attackers, maybe Brennan can do something on the last stage here if it's raced passively, though it usually is one for puncheur/climbers.

Brennan should hang around in Spain for the rest of the race and suck up some of good vibes. Try and win the last stage, points jersey, take some photos for the album and head home on Sunday. Plenty of oppotunities in the cobbles races later.
