Hey, Benji made a career out of being a worthless grifter who offered zero insight and just surfed waves of popular opinion about big name riders and persuading people on social media that he was some kind of prophet, why can't Mou do the same, after all while the extent of their insight may have been questioned, any insight at all is more than Benji had access to at first and he found his way in, right?

A lot of these kinds of stories is about the old inner sanctum of the media club and co. losing their minds over the chance there's part of the narrative they can't control and falling over themselves to get to it.

Like I said, I didn't have an issue with mou posting his "insights", it's the flooding of posts with pointless content that made threads unreadable as well as the insults that obviously got him banned.

I also don't understand this forums obsession with Benji Naesen, the guy posts meaningless stuff on twitter (a medium which is differently designed than a forum and obviously can't be compared) and does a podcast? Who really gives a ***? Unlike mou whatever attention he gets hasn't resulted in making misogynistic comments or throwing insults around.

I actually remember that there is some old comment from 2009 or something where a member talks about future british GT contenders and he actually mentions froome (alongside Dan Lloyd or something which makes it even funnier). That was the true CN forum prophet.

Iirc mou thought of this the same way and his source felt differently. So he stopped posting those screen shots. The point of the whole leak wasn’t for element of surprise that’s for sure. There’s value in war when you just pile up your might for your opponent to see. And break them mentally before the battle begins

Funny thing is, while he had a very small group of people actually believing him in the start, the rest was basically mocking him Then Strade Bianche happened, and a few more people started to believe and less people mocked him after we were told hed ride in rings around the competition. Then MSR where he was extremely critical of the team and the ONE race he didn't expect him to blow everyone out of the water, and thats exactly what happened. Then all the juicy insights about team dynamics, Matxin, Sola, and the bald fraud San Millán. Then Catalunya with the improved climbing performance and people actually started to believe this guy was onto something. It was a ride, and its kinda cool honestly to have followed this 'live' while it became such a huge story just a couple of months later.

The few of his posts that i read, i thought were comical, but not worth following up on because he was a user (maybe in more ways than one) who would by default exaggerate not only his claims, but also in the way he would deliver the message itself. So not really worth getting into a serious discussion with because of the manic nature of his writings and being unable to gauge the seriousness of his claims. For all these "Pog will be from another planet" claims, he (Pog) is now 3 and 5 minutes ahead of two riders who crashed in Itzulia and saw their TDF preparation severely impacted. We've had Tours not that long ago when those were the differences after 1 TT or 1 MTF. But something tells me Mou will be happy with the anonymous attention he is getting.

Also worth noting that much of what he posted was widely available on the net. Public posts, PR, etc. (a user on Reddit has posted about this). There might have been additional insider info about team dynamics, but that is actually hard to confirm unless one also has said inside info.
