Dombroski has had health issues and only just had the corrective surgery required at end of last year
I think he is a masive talent but has had problems riding in the peloton and also seems lacking the drive to be a real contender...but he has the talent

If he were in a differnt team , nurtured and had a path set out for him he could get there ...
If only he had the ambition of a Bardet ....he could be the second American to win the Tour

SKY was the wrong choice for him but Cannondale while better is not the right option

Costa has the potential of LeMond (no pressure kid).

At least 80% odds he's so far from Greg's potential/talent.

Costa is for real. It's hard to judge true talent in the US since the LeMond/Hampsten/Phinney/Grewal era because it's difficult to seperate the natural talent from the clinical talent, but I'd say that Costa has the talent to win a GT. He's that good.

Re:

Costa is a hell of a climber and TT-er. It's not often a young talent can do both. Unlike many junior prospects who fizzle out when they reach 19 because they lose their advantage of being big/strong for their age, he has developed over the years and I still think he has some physical development to come that will make him even better. He also speaks French (parents) and seems like a level-headed kid.

Neilson Powless wins the U23-Nats in Louisville. What a season this kid is having. An incredible versatile competitor who seems to master every facet on a bike - No wonder with those genes, his mother (Jeanette Allfred-Powless) competed in the 1992 Olympic marathon for Guam and his father raced iron man triathlons and went to the world championships twice as well.

Next up on his schedule is Tour of Utah but the next race he is really targeting is the Tour de L'Avenir were he could be in with a fine chance as well, judged on how he has been going the entire 2017!

Northern California has some strong riders coming through in Powless and Evan Huffman as well who really had a super TOC.
