Now that young Oscar has demonstrated that he can duke it out with the best on hilltop sprint finishes, (Vingegaard in the Cro race and Pog yesterday) I thought he should have his own thread.

And as the first rider thread I created was the soon to retire Bardet, Oscar is a fitting replacement, given the influence that Romain has had on the young scot's development.

Still 10th on GC. Hopefully he stays on his bike today and has a good day tomorrow. He could pick up a few places if he's on song. TT is definitely a weakness for him in the bigger stage races.

Promising today. Probably suffered in the heat but gave it a courageous go. Bodes well for the season. Must have a shout of a Tour stage win if Pog doesn't get greedy and win them all.

Good job, tried to follow like some before have (Carapaz, LVE, Pidcock) and made a decent fist of it. All I can ask of these guys is that they aren't in awe of the big names, even if they lose. He is doing the Ardennes which should suit him more than today.
