I would send Roglic, Hindley and Pellizarri again.

Lipo wants Tour by the reports.

Remco, who knows. I dont understand why there has been so much talk about Giro for him. It must be his own wishes if it happens, which is fair enough... but I dont quite get it for different reasons. He should be all-in for the Tour, imo.

A GT without Jonas / Tadej, but Jonas will race the Giro..

If Pog doing classics again and Jonas Giro...

Even more reason for Remco to be all-in for Tour, imo.

If Vingegaard is doing the Giro alone, he can win it like Pogacar, on 90% (okay maybe a tad more if Almeida starts and doesn't *** up..like he usually does) and start Le Tour 100%.
In this case, Vingegaard doing the Giro won't be of any help for Vingegaard.

Remco for the Vuelta then, but Rogla...

If it plays out like that, then so be it.

Difficult to find a better scenario in the near future is all I am saying.

So I will repeat that Remco should be all-in for the Tour next season, imo.

Nah, Evenepoel would still do the Tour.
He may/could do the Giro beforehand, but I'm certain he is doing the Tour.

Next year Pogi (pretending to go for all big races) will do cobbles classics, go on a short vacation and then last-minute entry and victory at the Giro straight after beach time (like Contador). Afterwards he will tell the sheikhs "screw the Tour, I'm tired" and will prepare for Vuelta and WC. Lifetime chance for Remco.

I would expect the plan to be Remco / Lipo for the Tour. Remco focuses on Spring Classics, Fall races. Roglic to Giro / Vuelta.

But who knows. It'll be interesting to see it shake out.
I would do:

Giro:
Lipo
Hindley
Pellizzari

Tour:
Remco
Lipo
Hindley
Vlasov

Vuelta:
Roglic
Martinez
Pellizzari
Vlasov

--> Remco: Tour, Spring Classics, Falls Races

--> Lipo: Giro and Tour

--> Roglic: Tour de Swiss, Vuelta

Absolutely no reason for Lipowitz to do Giro + Tour. He’d probably come in undercooked to the Giro out of some misguided notion that he can win it still and peak for Tour, but instead he just get his doors blown off in two GTs. Pick one and go all in. Pick a one week and target a victory, which would be huge for him. People talk about him like he’s better than 2021 Roglic but he’s won essentially nothing.

Yeah. Rogla to skip the Tour but with a chance for GT double. Remco classics + the Tour. Pelizzari, Lipowitz and Hindley as co-leaders/second leaders in Giro/Tour/Vuelta respectively.

All reasonable and good. Could you see Roglic as another threat at the Tour, or too many leaders to juggle?

EDIT: I guess I don't have a good answer on which of the other GT's he would pull out of. I guess the Giro.

again, Remco is likely doing 2 GT next year
Curious what you're basing that on. He's always (to my ear) made noises about the amount of sacrifice 2 GTs would be for him, and felt like he was generally referring to time away from and less focused on his family.

That said, I am not that close to all the machinations. What's behind your 2 GT statement? Thanks!

Based on what?
I think there were some rumours that he wants to do the classics? And classics+ 2 GT's don't work too good, IMO.
From my own perspective, he could wait for Vingegaard's schedule and eventually go for the Giro and then Le Tour. If he (Vingegaard) is doing the Giro, Remco could switch to the classics. And then go on Tour-WC-Lombardia
