Emil Herzog #2 today. I really wish him a strong season, he was such a beast during his junior years
Good for him, but the more important thing from him was the day before, he broke all his strava power numbers for long efforts and according to Patxi Vila he was the MVP of the day, controling from the Miserat (in a peloton of only 20-25 riders at some point) to the second last climb.

I hope he has some chances in smaller races with that legs.

Does anyone of you know more about Fietzke from the Rookies? He was riding until end of november and since then he dissappeared. Got his knee pain more seriously?

Whoever does best, don’t think they start with clear leaders. Except maybe Roglic
The route doesn't really favor a rigid hierarchy. But you can have Pellizzari and Hindley be more aggressive if Roglic is the faster ITTer and if he's in stomping form again.

Yeah, but I don’t think any one of them will be waited for if he can’t follow during a stage, do you?

dont know more than what i can see on pcs, but based on that my guess is

hindley
pellizzari
vlasov
aleotti
zwiehoff
wandahl
tim van dijke
van poppel
Sounds like a good group. Maybe one more Rider for the Sprint preparation instead of Aleotti/Wandahl/Zwiehoff?

The Race from Martinez yesterday was already better then anything he showed last year
Yes.
Although I find Vlasov's performance in Valencia more significant after four years of decline.

Undoubtedly, the team's performance is showing very positive signs. Pellizari in Valencia's was at the level of Almeida. Considering that he was pulling the entire stage he was impressive..

For those who analyze everything in terms of results, it would be a bad race for RB Bora, but as you say, Martínez didn't look like the same rider as last year. His attack 50 kilometers from the finish reminded me a lot of his 2024 Algarve performance in terms of explosiveness. Simply trying to match McNulty for over an hour of racing burned him out. He's not the rider with the most powerful engine, but I have a good feeling about Foia and Malhão if it all comes down to the final meters. Etxeberria and Tratnik also performed better than their final positions suggest.

I feel some Roglic fans cheering for Del Toro to beat Remco in UAE. it never happened to me to cheer against a rider racing for the same team of my fav rider.

I wonder if there are some Pogačar fans cheering for Remco because they perceive del Toro as a possible pretender to the throne.

Sure, after seeing that he was at a climbing level of Carapaz and Ciccone, or that Pogacar dropped him in the World Championship or Lombardy.

In Roglic's case, it doesn't make sense either. Remco will be the leader of the Tour, while Roglic isn't even going because he's taken on a role with a secondary objective like the Vuelta. They won't be competing in the same races.

Are you a Pogačar fan?

They raced very poorly today. They waited too long to get involved, letting a cooked Mark Donovan waste time. Vermeersh wasn't much help.
It's a shame about Van Gils; he looked to be in good shape

By the way, is something wrong with Hindley? He was in the prelist for Jaen and Ruta del Sol.

He had a cold some days ago. Nothing bad.

I don't see on why Rogla would benefit from Remco not winning at the UAE. Plus if UAE without Pogi can beat RBH with Remco on such race and when Remco clearly in form, then again that isn't all that beneficial to Rogla. Would show that RBH is still trailing behind UAE on many levels and as said that doesn't exactly benefit Rogla.

So my advice would be beat them Remco.
