Yes you are right, but if Vermeersch and/or Pellizzari can get a top 10/top 5 result. It would be very good. For the likes of Herzog, Boichis I just want them to finish the Race and be a good help in the First Parts of the Race. Maybe one Rider will be present in the breakaway and can then survive around Place 25-40 - which would be a huge result for These riders.

Very sad that van Gils is injured.
Well Vermeersch got the top 5 Boichis was in the break and came home in place 25. Herzog finished the race. All in all again a good result for Bora.

Side note: the juniors started today there race season with a short time trail in spain, tomorrow the first road race. Karl Herzog will not start as he started today in a MTB XCO UCI Junior series event (19th) - I like that they try to get complete riders and let them do other disciplines then only road racing.

For me, this was Vermeersch's best physical performance of his entire career, better than Flanders or Roubaix top 10s, considering the elevation but especially the level of demand imposed by UAE. I imagined him at most reaching the level of what Van Aert did today.

I think the Performance of Giulio was also ok, considering that this kind of race is far from his strength atm

It was a lot about positioning. He was not in the front at the beginning of the gravel section.

Good team work at PN.
What a crazy stage in France today. In the end RBBH missed out on the stage win, but the team delivered an outstanding performance. In the stage races, the team has already been incredibly strong this year. Of course, there was some luck involved today, but the team worked at the front all day and was rewarded in the end. Huge praise to the whole team for what they achieved today.

They forced fortune yesterday! Things just happened because they paced all day long.
Martínez was cooked in the end…maybe was too cold for him

Apparently they are currently looking at signing De Lie. Not sure he’s the type of rider for them. I believe in his talent, just not sure if the culture would work for him.

Exactly. If you're looking to professionalize everything, you don't want to sign a guy like De Lie.

At the same time, it's such a Red Bull signing, which means signing every big name you can get your hands on.

Hindley is showing some good climbing legs before the Giro and Tuckwell is already a climber on world tour level. Promising for his future if he is able to stick to the best 25 climbers in a race like this, especially when you did a lot of work the day before

This team is quickly becoming the biggest joke in the peloton. They are lucky they have Rog so that they can win something of importance.

Nah, they are solid podium finishers ATM with a lot of individual quality at play, for winning they mostly need to become a better team. Considering Remco rode for Lipo today and Rogla did something similar for Giulio i reckon they might be becoming just that. If they manage to push through and to achieve this goal then good luck to the competition.

Nope, they are a completly different team for the better. Consistent in race results with top 10 and podiums, showing dominance and taking control when needed in races and racing with confidence and to date 2nd on rankings. havent seen that since who knows when with the "old guard" at the helm.

Team is dong well, stepped up performance wise in 2026 since 2019 or so

Not gonna lie, the team supporting Roglic in Itzulia does qualify for 'biggest joke of the year' so far.
