Well, it doesn't really matter on who will be better, as most likely each will race for their own result.
Roglic and Lipo did so more or less last year.
But i'm not sure if that scenario will play out again.

However it will play out. It's clear both will be under pressure to perform. Remco more than Lipo. The outside noise at the very least will deem it Remco last chance to prove his GT capabilities, and Lipo will ride his first tour with genuine expectations from the outside.

IMHO Rogla was always a good mentor for the younger riders at RBH and it shows. As for Lipo and Remco being under much pressure, likely not. As nobody really expects them to win.

Bad final day for RBH. They had 3 in that group. Lipo should have held the group together and lead-out for Roglic.
No way he takes 3/4th of a minute back on pogacar on that climb even if you expected Pogacar was weak (which he wasn't)

Roglic isn't winning a sprint vs Pogacar.

The mistake isn't Lipowitz trying, the mistake is Lipowitz doing pulls and not letting the group come back so that maybe Roglic can counterattack with some momentum in the final km.

Still, very unlikely to work because the finale was a little bit too steep to really make it very tactical.

Pogacar did not seem that interested. I think he would have done little had Lipo not attacked. That means a slower pace and a fresher Roglic. Maybe he does not win but still better odds than Lipo sprinting vs Pogacar.

Even setting aside helping others win, would you say he uses his team well?
He is the best GC rider who doesn't have a team for himself. Best support he got was Evenpoel at Catalunya. At Basque he did everything on his own and even managed to secure second while his team including Roglic quit on the last stage.

Interesting line-up for the Giro. To go without a sprinter is unlucky, but they have only two and Danny was originally planned but has many problems this year. So okay. But three guys for the flat? (Moscon, Mick and Denz) so they are 100% Focus on Guilio for the GC. Much pressure for the young guy. Perhaps Nico can make a nice result from a group.
Aleotti, Zwiehoff, Vlasov and Hindley for the hills is ok.

I think Giro would be too much, he is racing since TDU. In this form from Romandie I would definitely take him to Vuelta.
Agree. He will be a great asset to the team for years to come. Very good Mountain domestique and 1 week Race leadership I guess
