They did already got some bigger names. Van Baarle isn’t cheap@peterfin
I assume they will get around 5 millions for Remco and similar savings in terms of wage, that should enable them to pouch a talented youngster or two, paired with Landa and riders like Van Wilder, i guess they should do rather OK. We'll see.
Hate to see you go.This is it folks, i already read enough here. Things like Remco would destroy Cancellara on an e-bike, it's too much for me to swallow.
Ignoring the technology, aero advantages and what Cancellara produced in his career on both TTs, PR and RVV is too much for me.
Landa isn't getting any younger, and Van Wilder has been collecting some nice top 10's in 1 week races, but has yet to commit to GT's. I honnestly don't know. If i remember correctly Paret Peintre also wanted to do GC's in the future. If Remco moves is then Landa sole leader at the Tour 2026 or co leader with Van Wilder?

I’m not sure it’s today, they said the first week of August but even then once it’s signed it’s waiting on the go from the marketing departmentNow is the time i guess to shine, such opportunities are sparse.
Anyway, this is it guys, today the announcement should be made in regards to Remco switching teams and in such case i expect for a rather smooth transition, if by any chance no announcements will be made today, then things will likely become rather murky.
You probably mean Bora?Lodewyck probably also going to Soudal. If his trainer joins too, the only difference will be bigger budget and better cast around him.
Here's hoping Roglic knowledge from past 2 years comes in handy.
I thought I wouldn't get any questions about Remco in this Tour? No, we didn't want to, or couldn't, make any announcements about that in the Tour.
There hasn't been any major developments yet. We'll talk about it and announce things in due time.
We're currently focusing on the results in this Tour and on seven transfers we've made.
When can we expect news? "Sometime in August. But Remco Evenepoel has a contract, right? There's not much to say at the moment."

It's not SOQ's job to communicate this, that's for RBH to do. I don't expect them to come out with this news today, since they will want to create a marketing campaign around it. Doesn't make sense to do it on the 1st of August when a lot of other teams do the same. It's not like he's moving instantly, he'll be leaving by the end of 2025, so there is still time.No big news today indeed, so i am a bit sceptical and will leave it to facts now, not speculations. If all would already be sorted out then IMHO we would already get official news. Likely SOQ still hasn't give the green light.
That's an assumption based on what we have seen in 2025, with Remco not in top shape. Be aware that Remco won a GT already, that he was 1 minute faster in the flat TT's of the TdF and Dauphine and that Lipowitz best climb efforts in the TdF 2025 are still below those of Remco in the TdF 2024.Red Bull's best candidate to win a Grand Tour is Florian Lipowitz. Remco would be second.
Might depend on the Tour and how each rider starts 2026?Red Bull's best candidate to win a Grand Tour is Florian Lipowitz. Remco would be second.

Didn't uae catch some flack for stage 15 where del Toro could have won but they pulled back the move with del Toro and Carapaz and Bernal (but no Yates or Ayuso)?UAE Del Toro mistake on the stage that lost them the Giro had nothing to do with multiple team leaders though.
They just told Del Toro to focus on Carapaz who did so to a fault, They failed to make del Toro realize the danger in time, and switch to working with Carapaz.
More concerned about some RBH staff leaving and the media making it look like it’s for Evenepoel. Which some riders will also start to believe and that’s not a good start. They hoped Ayuso would come good from his injury. Del Toro was unproven.
We all hope Remco possible transfer will do him good. But the reality is, it can also turn bad.
Not all transfers have a positive effect.
They would have had a good guess but Ayuso crashed and wound up not being able to finish the race.Didn't uae catch some flack for stage 15 where del Toro could have won but they pulled back the move with del Toro and Carapaz and Bernal (but no Yates or Ayuso)?
But that was actually a result of one-leader thinking, they just had the wrong leader in mind.
Even on the inside of the team, with full access to power data and other metrics, they can't figure out who's going to be better in week 3 of a GT.
Same amount of GT wins as Hindley or TGH.Lots of GT winners in the peloton
