But who got time for that during their prime (one hour record)? Only riders like Ganna, Campenaerts.
Not riders trying to compete all year round. Unless he just gives it a go with minimal prep at the end of a season.

Is it me or has Remco bulked up? His tights look very impressive. It must be the most powerful versions of Remco ever, considering his looks and the way he stomped Pogacar on the cobbled climb.
I think looked on the bigger side.

I don't think he's gonna threaten Pogacar in the road race at all for that reason.

Well, Pogacar has to regain his normal level for the next Sunday first, otherwise others could have high hopes. I'm still assuming this was an isolated flop (which happens sometimes in TTs) and he'll be a different beast in a week.

Remco could just keep winning the WC ITT for years. I can't even see any younger riders comping up who might challenge him. Such an amazing rider to watch in TTs.

Also, doing a cobbled hill slower than Jay frigging Vine is not a reason to get hyped about RVV.

The reason to think about RVV is more like everything else.

He has probably spent this week watching Van Poppel sprint deviation reels, so it's obvious he didn't have much time left to train on the TT bike. He will indeed be stronger and fully motivated for the road race.

I think he has a huge potential but the very first thing Bora needs to do is change his physique.
Remove the bulk and force him to prioritize climbing instead of TT.
Well, it's a delicate balance, which Soudal failed to achieve.

Absolute domination today- an amazing performance. Did pick him to win but thought the course would dictate a much closer race. A phenom against the clock.
I honestly didn't expect it after the Tour and thought it would be another Pogi show. Well, he sure proved me wrong. His pure talent should never be questioned.

He was also 28 seconds faster than del Toro from T3 to finish. I don't think you can infer a lost from that for the road race, otherwise Vine would be the favourite hands down

Will the Canada TT be flat do we think, or are we expecting hilly? I'm just feeling sorry for poor Josh Tarling, knowing he'll always come up against Remco!
