I think the gap will get smaller, doubt Evenepoel will be able to match him. Maybe in 2027, around the same time Pogacar gets tired of winning

To me it's the most likely scenario: Evenepoel can win the Tour when Pogi (and Vingo) are declined. However, in 2-3 years the landscape will be different and other strong GC guys can appear filling up the void left by the most profilic Tour rivalry ever.

Climbing wise Evenepoel is much closer to being like 7th best climber int he world than he is to Pogacar.
