Anything in Belgian press about him being sick?

Most people who follow cycling acknowledge extraordinary talent.

Some people don't, but I wonder what they are doing on a cycling forum, in a thread about Evenepoel, waisting their valuable time...

They could as well be knocking on doors with bibles in their hands and hand out brochures with watchtowers.

But Evenepol; is not an extraordinary talent ..that's just it

he is talented but not extra ordinary...only the fan boys on here think that

Pogacar, MVDP, Vingegaard and Roglic are better than him

So he has won some rainbow jerseys and one day monuments...well so did alot of riders inc Sagan, Gilbert

Sad to see Remco suffering like this. Maybe he’s not as good at GC as Vinge, Roglic, Pogi, but something is obviously very wrong today. I wanted to see him fight for the victory, even win if deserving. Another race without being able to answer the critics. Hoping for a miraculous recovery.

Who amongst us hasn't won rainbow jerseys, one day monuments and a GT?

Let me tell you, I am utterly SHOCKED by this performance on a high mountain stage. I thought this was gonna be the day he shows everyone. We have been told so. Who could have guessed this was gonna happen? No one...
Don't be childish, he was dropped on the first climb when 50 other people could follow, and his whole team was around him. There's clearly something wrong.

Maybe those saying he cant climb with the best were on to something.
If he had been finishing around 10th there might been a point proven.
When he’s dropped off a peloton with 50 men and has his whole team babysitting him on the first climb it’s clearly something wrong. Remember this guy won a stage finishing on the top of a pretty big mountain already this Vuelta.

Of course, that must be the reason. Thank you for clarifying !
