Are you joking? You're cherrypicking something and calling it a "Big Win" as a criteria for assessing riders despite such races being much more prone to being won due to vacant or depleted fields.

Pogacar was 3rds in Vuelta against Valverde, Quintana and Roglic.
He won many one day races and specially stage races against top contenders. And one of the most glorious wins will always be the recent RVV.

Such comparison seems to put them much closer than they in fact are.
He is comparing two wins at TDF with a Vuelta and a WCRR so, if I were you, I wouldn’t even mind arguing…

One thing about Pog and Remco

When Pog goes solo, he usually ends up winning by 30-40 seconds. Remco is winning by minutes when he goes solo. Had it not been for him descending like a scared poodle in the rain today, he wins by 2-3 minutes, like at San Sebastien or the worlds
Depends on the terrain, rolling terrain like in Liege and San Sebastian suits Remco more, cause he's the superior roleur, but mountain terrain suits Pogacar more, as we saw in Tour 2021 when he gave minutes to his opposition.

What did he get banned for? I did not see it. Maybe responding to someone I have blocked?
I don't know either. It's usually responding to someone who has no business posting and says something very stupid. But I don't think the moderators ever tell us why someone gets banned. There should be a forum for it...after-all we're all adults no? Bring back "Logic". We need him for Il Giro

Stop strawmanning me lol.

I never made any further valuation of any of those wins at all. All I did was take an arbitrary (but absolutely still telling) statistic.
Nobody was untreated unfairly in it.

You'd swear for all the complaints you hear here about Remco fanboys, the Pogi fanboys would be less easily agitated.

Give Logic a break, he's celebrating his 2nd Liege victory after all.

I have heard from a very reliable source that Logic has no idea what he was banned for either but that he will be back in time for the Giro!

I've been thinking recently about how some are saying Remco will not be able to win on the cobbles, especially Roubaix.

I am not sure that is the case. Yes, he is at a disadvantage on the cobbles. However, most of the course is not cobbles. On the sectors between cobbles, it is nice flat road, where Remco has a huge advantage as he can go into the aero bullet mode. He possibly could make up the time he loses on the cobbles on the non cobbled sections

But theoretically that would tire him out over the extended period. Get tired and worn down by the cobbles and then adding catching back up. Is it possible to win, I think so. Yet like with Pog, the stars would have to align for him to accomplish that.

If Remco were to be dropped on the cobbles by, let‘s say, five guys by seven seconds (this assumes quite some incompetence considering his power) he has a good chance to make it back quite a few times. But if he really struggles mightily on cobbles, he will have to lead big groups back on time and time again, creating chaos and more attacks.
But even if he somehow doesn‘t tire after so many chasing moves, most of the Roubaix favorites should be able to beat him in a sprint so he will need to make moves to solo away as well. I think that he still has a lot of room for improvement but he will have to gain this cobble skill before he stands a realistic chance in Roubaix.

I think the size stereotype with Roubaix may be playing a role here. He'll need to spend time to get used to riding cobbles, but his engine is more than enough to win Roubaix and Roubaix usually creates a breakway winner, which fits his primary win condition.

Of course he he has to enter the race to have a shot of winning but I think he's more than capable. I think if he wins Lombardia he'll race RVV and MSR next year (I think MSR is on the calendar next year away) and he'll attempt Roubaix for the first time in 2025 or 2026.

I think Pog would have an excellent chance. He already proved at last year's TDF he can handle the cobbles. He had trouble extending his lead between the cobbles, however. That should be less of a problem in PR than a TDF cobble stage. I expect with Remco it would be the opposite

Roubaix is more about endurance than the cobbles imho. Yes, the cobbles are defining as they smash the peleton to pieces and make it much more a one to one battle as typically teams are unable to control the race. There is some handling involved (benefiting MVDP, WVA, ...) but the defining aspect is power (and aero). Remco has definitely a chance here.
