For a short time MVDP vs Van Aert was a real thing as well.
Sure, but it wasn't fun. It's not like they're racing side by side, that would be awesome, but minutes apartAt least Ganna vs Evenepoel was a real rivalry for a brief period.
You seem to have a narrow range of cycling likes. It never was (for me)
I exclude about 10% of cycling and your conclusion is that I have a narrow range of cycling likes. OkayYou seem to have a narrow range of cycling likes.![]()
I will say one thing about road racing and that is when you watch it on tv there's a lot of time to go get another beer without missing any of the action. Also world wide I would say that time trialing and cyclocross makes up considerably more than 10% of all cycling participation.I exclude about 10% of cycling and your conclusion is that I have a narrow range of cycling likes. No. Two leaders are never equal imo.Well there’s a shared leadership at the moment of course. Wouldn’t that say they are equals?
That's true a bit. After all the interviews we've had, I feel Lipowitz is a step below in the pecking order.No. Two leaders are never equal imo.

If Fondos are road races then gravel is a cyclocross race. Are you sure? Think of all the mass grand fondos and amateur races that are RRs
That's ridiculous and you know itIf Fondos are road races then gravel is a cyclocross race.
As would their relative palmares.Their relative compensation would definitely suggest that is the case…
It's the other way around. Pogacar is the rider to beat, fans of other riders are focused on him.
You only have to look at the clinic thread; it's full of fans of other riders obsessed with him. If fheri favorite riderd were winning the same, they'd be happy.
Pogacar's fans, in any case, are more focused on MVDP or Vingegaard.
When a Pogacar fan thinks about the Tour, the logical thing to think about is Vingegaard.
By the way, Remco first has to beat Vingegaard. It's as if Vineggaard doesn't exist.
I mentioned this the other day in the Pogacar thread.
To say there aren't any attacks in the Pogacar thread is to have clearly not been read threads.
It's also noticeable that some user have left the forum.
But the main reason is that people vent their frustrations in his "clinic" thread, which is full of fans of other cyclists who were hoping would win everything he has. And I think the way they talk in that thread is worse than what's said in this Remco thread, which I don't think is anything serious either.
If the number of messages from Pogacar fans has increased lately in this thread, it's simply because Remco has talked about Pogacar.
If Pogacar talks about Remco it would be the other way around, but Pogacar's main rivals are primarily Vingegaard and MVDP. But I don't see a lot comments (no attacks) on MVDP´sthread, perhaps because MVDP hasn't made the statements Remco has made about Pogacar. That's all; these aren't attacks, just comments on what Remco said.
It's also normal to disagree with Remco fans who question how he can beat Pogacar. Saying that Remco isn't a favorite for the Tour and disagreeing with certain opinions isn't an attack on his fans; it's simply being disagree with some of his comments.
