I was thinking about Roubaix as well

However, Amstel should be a lay up win for him, he may decide to take the near guaranteed win (I say near guaranteed as he could always crash 400m from the line again)
Yeah he's not doing Roubaix. But I wouldn't be surprised that if De Ronde goes well, like top 5, that next year he does something similar like Pogacar where he does every monument.

Some riders crashes, get up on the bike and winning the race, or GT. Some even got break checked.
And? Did these riders crash down a ravine and broke their hip?
Did they crash into a postal car door and suffered severe nerve damage among other things?
Did Pogacar win LBL when he broke a bone in his wrist?
What on gods earth are you actually talking about here?

Would be such great news, if he wins why not add Roubaix 😂

That’s almost 10 years ago. He’s also riding Lombardia even after his 2020 crash. Time to go back to Roubaix, although it makes more sense to do that next year, imo

I agree that not every crash means you continue racing.

To be fair to Pogacar; he was in a tight pack and hit a pothole not ID'd as a hazard.
Riding into a ravine when you are the last rider in the descending group is a personal bike skill shortcoming.
Riding into a postal vehicle door is unfortunate but always possible in urban or suburban areas and can happen to anyone...it's not racing.
If there is a pattern that is part of critique of a rider it's worth noting, isn't it?

And its worth noting Remco is not the same rider as he was early in his career. His bike handling has improved.

Remco to RVV would be absolutely great news but I'm not counting my chickens just yet and I'll wait for the official confirmation.

However, the fact that the rumour hasn't been debunked by now actually fills me with hope that they are at least considering it.

When you disappoint in 9 out your last 10 stage races, it is not because you have a valid excuse each time...
